Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I don't have much to say about this place as I really only go here for smoothies and have only tried two options (Pomagranete plunge, sub strawberries with cherries or their peanut butter smoothie) but so far my experiences have all been pleasant. I have a strawberry allergy and they're more than happy to make my smoothie in their allergy safe blenders that they clean thoroughly between each use. Their smoothies are also cheaper and a lot tastier in my opinion versus places like Smoothie king that don't have a lot of flavour and can cost 10$ or more. So, I'd say they're more than worth stopping by!

Shouldn’t have kids working at night. We stopped right before closing and sat at the drive thru speaker for 15 minutes before closing. We waited and no answers to our calls. Finally decided to sit behind the last car at the window. We were told they were closed which was obvious! Told us the headset had been removed at closing time, but we’d come 10-15 before the 9:00 pm closing. Didn’t offer an apology and didn’t seem to care. Don’t feel like coming back either if that’s the way this business is run.

I adore the manager of this location!!! I use to hate coming here now I can’t wait to see him because he’s such a vibe!! I’m a customer and also do several deliveries and always look forward to being able to pick up from this location, a lot of restaurants treat drivers badly he is a breath of fresh air!

Bad experience at this Tropical Smoothie. Waited forever in the drive-thru, then when we get up to the window the lady asks us what we ordered. Took them another 15 minutes to bring the food to find my girlfriends sandwich to be the wrong one, dry/old chicken on my sandwich and the wrong chips.. My girlfriend goes back inside and before she could even say anything, one worker said "Your order wrong or sumthin?" No greeting, and obviously already knew the order was wrong. The people working here are the same ones wanting $15/hr.. Pathetic

Visited this cafe at approximately 6:35 p.m., 04/24/21 (Saturday). Only 2 employees were visible in the cafe. No eye contact from the lady in the food area. The other employee, male, was wearing a headset and appeared to be taking orders for the drive through. I had been standing a few feet back to study the menu a bit. He never greeting myself or anyone else who walked in behind me. When I approached the counter where he was punching in orders, I told him I'm ready to order. Still, he was stone cold silent, no change in expression, no verbal cue or appreciation for his customers. Review is for the Franchise owner: You were short of help when I visited your establishment, the drive through is always lined up, as you know, and your employees looked very tired, at best. I feel it is demoralizing to employees when they have to "run the show" when there's not enough of them to do it efficiently/smoothly. I know firsthand how hard it is to retain employees and I'm not afraid to step in and help when the going gets tough. Thank you.
