Rock N Roll Sushi

First time ever going to a sushi bar and I must say it was a great experience... customer service was great the atmosphere was nice and rock n rolly and they have great designs of some rock n roll legends ... They have a lot to choose from but I picked some great items ... everything was delicious and hot and fresh.. I must say the wontons was delicious was that great dipping sauce and those shrimps was delicious also... my baby and hubby enjoyed they meals also... everything was just nice in general... I will be returning... 🙂

This is A++ sushi experience as someone, I believe, knows alot about the topic. It is located behind Krispy Kreme, in the Picadilly Square shopping center. Semi hard to see from the road but faces Airport Blvd and is perpendicular to Hillcrest rd. The atmosphere is great. Theres a bar for single dining, and about 5 booths along the wall, w a few tables in the front. Album covers are the menus, real ones, with the menu cleverly pasted inside. I thought this was cool... Theme being rock and roll, this sushi joint uses all the late and great bands and performers for names of the rolls. ** I had the Jimi Hendrix roll. With shrimp tempura, cucumber (or avocado, I can't remember pretty sure cuke) with cream cheese inside and fresh mango, sweet chili and eel sauce on top. I opted to substitute raw red tuna. Which I highly recommend....it was the perfect balance of sweet, heat, and umame (I know silly word but it's that Asian savory salty thing) it was great. I absolutely loved it!!! **I also had miso soup, also good. Typical miso no real stand outside but I still had no complaints. **The servers were all there w kitchen staff. Typical sushi bar thing in effect made right there in front of u. They were talking, I was alone, and completely included me as if I were part of the family. **My server Sarah was extremely nice and had great knowledge of the menu and nothing but smiles for me. **This place is underrated as far as I could see. Only one other table eating while I was there. Please do yourself a favor and visit this local business as it is a hidden jem. Yum!!

I really liked and enjoyed this place. Appearance-wise not the most luxurious of places, but don’t think it’s intended to be. I are here in two different days and the experience was consistently great. Servers and chefs were nice and friendly, and the rolls were delicious. I find the concept rather creative, and loved that’s consistent throughout; the menus and the name of the dishes/rolls are fun to look at. I do recommend this place and will be back.

The food was amazing!!! It tasted great, it was the right temperature when it arrived, and it was the correct item I requested. My family and I went out to celebrate my birthday recently and this was my requested place to eat. It was after dark and to be completely honest, besides getting drive-thru occasionally and seldom getting something like take-out; I've been very hesitant to go out to eat anywhere in the restaurant bc of Covid and I'm also very susceptible to getting extremely sick if I do get it being immunocompromissed by having MS. But since I'm now completely vaxed I figured it wouldn't hurt to eat outside the restaurant. So that is indeed what we did. It was a very comfortable environment to eat and chat and visit with the fan. Now it was nice and quiet for the beginning of it but as it got a lil later more and more people started to come and gather near the entrance or patio area where we were seated. But other than a couple of rowdy and destructive kids over at the Walgreens across the parking lot trying to destroy a shopping cart, it was a really nice outing. We each had an appetizers to enjoy amongst us and share, which was nice and also arrived correct. I would definitely love to come back again soon!!!
