Cicis Pizza

Only been there twice but one thing I like is thin crust. I used to live in Houston area and loved cici's pizza and their service. Loved I could customize my pizza. Now here in Mission/McAllen they make it all thick when you customize plus look at the huge bell peppers on pic. They have thin sliced bell peppers in salad bar so it made me feel like they hated that I ordered a customized pizza....but the options they had were horrible.

The app was malfunctioning and they never accepted my receipt barcode for my rewards... Other than THAT, the pizza was a consistent quality with ALL Cici's... The desserts were doughy and undercooked, as were the cheesy breadsticks... Soaked in butter and SOGGY. The soup was almost the equivalent of boiled sea water with some teensy chunks of carrots/celery/grey chicken. Lettuce was also wilting in the salad bar... Smh

I've been here a few times and I really love the quality and variety of the food. The staff is very friendly and they respond pretty quickly to requests. This place is great for family dinners. They also have arcade machines for kids and adults to play. It's not a lot of arcade games, but they're fun to play. I highly recommend this place to any pizza lovers.

One of the best buffets in town!!! Staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in the door! All pizzas were freshly prepared and they even made me my favorite request! Pepperoni and Jalapeno! Place wasn't too crowded and never had to wait to get a refill on my drink or plate!!! I will definitely recommend it if you enjoy a few games of arcades on your break! Dont forget desserts! Enjoy.

Pizza is alright. They’re really stingy with how much pizza is out there at once. 1/4 of the pizza trays were empty during the 5-10 times I’ve visited this specific Cicis over the past couple years. The last time I went (which will also be the very last time I go to this one) half the tables were dirty and the lady at the salad bar was very insistent on telling me that I wasn’t allowed to pour ranch into a bowl reserved for pasta. Like. Really really insistent. Telling me it’s restaurant policy. LOL. I’ve never seen someone so emotionally invested into making sure we don’t use a pasta bowl for ranch dressing. Anyway, yeah, don’t come here. I’d rather make my own pizza from scratch than have to come and eat at this disgusting place.

We used to go there on different occasions and everything was fine until we started to notice every time we went only one pepperoni was on the pizza. When we ordered pizzas and specifically asked for extra pepperoni they only give you one extra pepperoni? I mean yeah it’s not that expensive but what’s the point if your order is not being accomplished? If you choose to go there then I expect it to be a perfect standard and no eye rolls and attitude when I ask for a simple fix on something.
