Sunny's Korean Restaurant

I’ve been enjoying Sunny’s since a kid when we lived a few blocks away. For every special occasion, this was my top choice. 25 years later, I cannot think of another that tops it. The food is delicious, staff is caring, and Sunny has always came to check in with her customers and make sure everyone is happy. I’ve recently had some health issues and when looking for gluten-free options, of course Sunny’s is #1. All of the food is healthy for you without sacrificing a delicious meal. I’m overly grateful for all Sunny’s gourmet products to allow you to cook at home as well. Next step is trying to get a cooking class scheduled with Sunny to learn how to prepare it even better. Though we eat chicken bulgogi at home at least once a week because it is my kids favorite and so easy to toss with stir fry or veggies over rice. Thanks for all you do Sunny and staff!

If you want to try real, quality Korean food, go to Sunny's! It is worth it! If you've never tried Korean, start with the beef bulgogi. It was very, very good. I've only had Korean food once before, and enjoyed it. Sunny's was just as good. We tried beef and pork bulgogi, and two other dishes. All were great, but the beef is a great safe dish It is very small, only 10-12 tables. I would not recommend taking a large party, or be prepared for a wait if you do. Great place for a date or anniversary.

Went here after a coworker recommended it, and have been a repeat customer over the year since. The inside is nothing fancy, but the food is terrific. I have introduced friends and family to it since, and they have become repeat customers, too. On top of that, you can buy their spices and and sauces, use recipes posted on their website, and try to recreate the dishes you enjoy at home.

The food is great. I've gone here many times over the last few years though and almost always have problems with the service. Waiter getting an order wrong twice, being charged the wrong amount then getting charged double, not getting sauce asked for with takeout. The owner herself is extremely friendly and nice but it's just never a smooth experience.
