I've been working with Marlene & Fredrick for over a few months now to secure them as the caterer for a UMN event which just happened last night! Marlene is both kind & patient. To say that the food was a success would be a huge understatement! The food was AMAZING! The food was delivered very hot & on time! Thank you again, Marlene! I highly recommend them!

The best sweet potato greens I’ve ever had from a restaurant! I love these greens and would recommend anyone looking for good authentic greens. Don’t forget the spice! The greens are full of tender smoked meats and served w/ rice & pepper sauce. You can request no meat @ an extra fee! So worth it..So good!!!

Customer service is very nice and professional. The food is always delicious and prepared with care. The owner is a very kind lady runs her restaurant extremely well. This is the ONLY African restaurant in Minnesota that I frequently visit. The food portions are correct and not over drenched in oil. This is my all time favorite restaurant in Minnesota. May this place stay open for many years to come. Just give it a try and then compare to other African Restaurants and I’m sure you’ll agree with me wink😉

Highlights: Delicious Food, Near Major Highways, Located In Strip Mall, Family Style Servings I have family from Liberia, so I've had the pleasure of tasting delicious homemade West African cuisine. Mid 2021- I was in this strip mall getting my hair done when a hairstylist from Liberia walked in with this delicious smelling food. I asked her where she got it from and explained to her that I have been unable to find a Liberian restaurant that taste like "home" here in the Twin Cities, and she vouched that this place was pretty good. It's been a wrap ever since. I order the same thing every single time, which is a bit costly. I think my entire order usually comes between $50 - $65, depending on if I get a small or large. I order the Whole Fish with Jolof Rice, & Collard Greens with No Meat (which you can order by size, S M L XL) The Whole Fish is nicely coated with this delicious seasoning and cooked to perfection! The Jolof Rice is delicious. The Collard Greens are so good, I've never tasted greens like it! Very original taste and I love that it's served with white rice. There is a young man who is always working, and he is very pleasant and easy to talk to. They don't have a lot of beverage options, but they do have a small grocer isle for you to purchase miscellaneous things like rice, beans, bouyon's, beverages, etc. There is a large parking lot, so parking should never be an issue. This is located in a strip mall, so you are surrounded by many other merchants. If you are quickly picking up, there is space for you to pull up briefly close to their entrance. I plan to keep supporting this place. I think the food is amazing, the staff is kind, and I always have a pleasant experience.

I apologize for not getting the picture before when the food was pretty. The smells were amazing I couldn’t wait. We had fish gravy with check rice, a fried tilapia, and spinach greens. No complaints it was well worth the small wait, clean inside and bathrooms, it was a wonderful meal 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Casava leaf meal was definitely made with love. This meal will have you lick your plate clean because to leave any food behind would be a crime. 100% satisfied. 😋

My wife & I love this place. They always have fresh food every time we order. There is never a line and we always enjoy every bite. Today we ordered our favorite which is Fried Potato greens and spicy chicken gravy. This is a HIT every time! If your ever in the neighborhood stop by or put your order ahead of time.

It was my first time at this restaurant. I heard they had good food, so my daughter suggested I go there. I ordered 4 entrees, so i spent good money there. I don't eat meat, so they accommodated me without it, I appreciated that. Since it was my first time, the cook came out and gave me a sample of what to expect. That hadn't ever happened to me before. My grandson was there too 5yrs old, and he wanted another sample. Lol. Great local place to eat for my family, and it was good . They were friendly and accommodating to my needs. See them soon.

I love this spot so much, easily one of my favorite places to eat. Been a customer for years now and I come often. The food is always amazing. If you’re looking for a spot which phenomenal authentic food & good portions this is the place to go!

I have always loved a good Spinach, and so when I found out about this place, I had to try their Spinach!!! One stop was all it took, and now I run back every chance I get!! Everything I had tried from the fried plantains, the Sweet Potato Spinach, their BBQ Wings, the Chicken gravy....... YES!!!! It's a must if you are in Crystal! Make sure to stop, you won't be disappointed. Friendly, inviting atmosphere, and amazing food!

My first time in my life eating African food and I Love it so much , and i have callard greens today , be back next week I will follow the menu all the way , come over eat here and you will be happy all day long 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Best Fresh African food Ever! The customer service was great. The first time there was a gentleman. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me on what I wanted. The food was fresh and delicious. The second time. I didn’t realize they were closed but the sweet lady Melanie had a beautiful soul and great customer Service. She personally made me something because I drove all the way from Shakopee just for their food. I will continue to dine there. Love that place!

First time trying African food with my 14 year old daughter. We loved it all so much! The flavors were incredible and the staff was so nice. Our first time, we had the jollof rice and chicken, chicken gravy and rice, pepper soup with fufu and both types of samosas. Absolutely mind blowing and my mouth was like fireworks with the flavors. We will definitely be back to try some new menu items!! Thank you for the amazing experience! Also, the wait time was kind of long but I’m ok with that as it was made fresh and super hot when we picked it up.

I LOVE the food and the family here! I’ve been coming here at least once a week for the past three years and my family and I absolutely love the food here! I will say that it isn’t fast food so if you’re not prepared to wait at least an hour for your food to be ready then great tasting, prepared with love and perfection food may not be for you but, I’ve been coming here for so long that I know to call my order in and to give them at least 90 mins before I know it’ll be bagged and ready to go. Please keep in mind you guys that this place gets a lot of traffic because the food is amazing so they’re busy ALOT! I would suggest EVERYTHING but my favorite is the Palava Sauce and the Potato Greens!

Great customer service! I was greeted with a smile by a wonderful woman name Marleen who took my order for Egusi Stew and fufu and it was so yummy that I came back the next day for a second order. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Had the Fufu and Pepper Soup, it was so good!!
