We ate Thanksgiving Buffet at Hometown Family Restaurant. We had Reservations from 10:30-11:30am. $18 per person. It was worth it. Great food, great service, friendly staff.... I would return to eat here again if I was eating out in St James ever again. Maybe next year Thanksgiving Day. Reservations
The food was good. The coffee was great. The waitress was nice. The price was excellent.
Good breakfast. From grilled cheese to roast beef sandwich, comfort food.
Beef commercial is just like Grandma used to make, with the crowning beauty that is sour cream raisin pie!
I went here with friends last year, and had never heard a hot beef sandwich called a "commercial." It was one of the best things I've ever had at a restaurant!! I got the half order, and can't imagine getting a full order - the half was very generous, and so, so good!!
Stopped in passing through town. Came in 20 minutes before close and they had a buffet special. Food was incredible and fresh, ice cream was great, and service was awesome! Worth stopping in!
Husband had cottage cheese & club sandwich on wheat bread. I had a chicken salad sandwich on wheat, hash browns, & fresh strawberry pie. Nice to be able to order sandwich only & add sides. Home style cafe...huge selection!!!
Great food, the chicken dumpling soup is best ever had. Great hot beef sandwich. Service good.

Food was great! Friendly staff, clean good prices. My dad loves this place and I had never been there, so took him out for lunch and it did not disappoint!

I really like eating here the older staff is the best, the younger girls usually have an attitude so we try to only go in the mornings. But the food is always good and right now they have the Christmas decore that just brightens your day as you walk in!
I have visited 4 times so far, and each time has been a treat. I have tried both dinner and breakfast meals and both have been delicious. The service has been perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. I marked the $10-$20 range because hubby is a big eater, but you can easily get a filling me
The food was great, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Best value for the dollar we have seen in a long time! This is a great place to eat - we were just passing through town, but would definitely go again if we are ever in town again in the future!
