Mesob Ethiopian Restaurant - Minneapolis - Photo album

I have chosen to give this establishment a 5 star because the food is tasty and it attracts a lot of locals as a small business, serving Ethiopian folks within the Twin Cities, especially in South Minneapolis, at a relatively "hole in the wall" location. I do not want to use superficial criteria to
Wonderful food. Doro Wat is a winner. Great service and simple ambiance too. Try their sampler Mesob special platter. And then you can decide on what to order more of either right after to take home or the next time you're there. The enjira bread is made to soak with the deliciousness. What are you
A gem of a restaurant worth visiting! The food was delicious, and the waiter worked hard to ensure every table received quality service. Meals are served family style and are best when shared. If you are uncertain what to order, try one of the samplers.
It was a very good experience, and they have a very good variety of health food. It was a very big plate, and nice Ethiopian beer. My fiend and I ordered different food, we both really enjoyed. I definitely recommend the place. It has a nice ambiance showing the Ethiopian culture.
We went here on a weekday evening for dinner. We loved the food here although service was pretty slow compared to other Ethiopian restaurants because only one person was manning the front desk, and taking orders etc . Having said that, the food was so good and reasonably priced that we didn’t mind t
Came here on a whim last night. Absolutely loved it! The food was exceptional and the coffee was great. We are looking forward to coming back when we’re in town again!
Nice place, nice people, great food!
Food was great the perfect portions. It's traditional Ethiopian experience. Take your kids with you they will love it. Don't take it personal when it takes awhile to get check or even to get food immediately. The culture is laid back dinning. When in Ethiopia you relax in the restaurant can even sit
The food was fantastic. It did take some time to come to the table but it was worth the wait, we ordered a veggie and meat sampler and not a single thing on the try was less than great. The inside is quiet and calm with a nice smell of incense when you enter.
My wife and I went to Mesob as first time customers after doing some home cooking of teff injera, doro wat, and other classic dishes to check our work. We got in the restaurant at about 7:00pm (a little earlier than many regular customers, I think) and found a few other parties of diners, all Wester
My friend and I drove to Mesob Restaurant for delicious Ethiopian food with generous portions. we ordered more than we could consume but that didn’t stop us from trying. Loved every morsel. We were greeted by the owner and you will not regret if you visit . Great service and recommendation. Robel
We were finally able to stop in and we were so glad we did! From the second you walk in the door you are greeted with the delicious aroma that sets the whole vibe. We ordered the meat and veggie sampler with an order of Sambusa and the tea. The Sambusa was amazing! The sampler we got was enough
We absolutely love the food here. It's a haven for vegetarians. The Veggie Samplers are a must try. As a South Indian, I feel Injera is the closest that a foreign food can get to our staple Dosai. It's amazing that some of the Veggie sides served with Injera also resembles what we have back home in
Delicious! Absolutely wonderful food and friendly service.
