Target Lounge At The Guthrie Theatre - Minneapolis - Photo album

The Guthrie Theater is not only nationally renowned, it’s a local treasure in my humble opinion. The building itself is architecturally stunning, with the crowning feature being the “Endless Bridge” (shown most clearly in the exterior, daytime photo included with this review.) The bridge provides go
As always another fantastic presentation of a Christmas Carol this was the third different production of this play I have seen at the Guthrie it would be hard to pick a favorite. My lady friend had never been here she so enjoyed this she made me promise to bring her back. I love that we have a top n
My first Christmas Carol 1983-1992. I them moved out of state. Having returned to the Twin Cities last spring I have happily seen all the productions, Christmas Carol is the G's fourth interpretation. Really wonderful. So great to see entire families, 2&3 generations moved by this Holiday message.
It was my first experience with the Guthrie and it was amazing! From the moment we entered the theater I could see why! That escalator ride alone was awesome! We were there to see A Christmas Carol and the show was just simply awesome!
It's a must do. Very nice interior and very good views of Minneapolis at night from the observation deck. They have a variety of shows going on year round. Stage is big and can see everything that is going on from any seat. Loved it!!
I gotta say, this is a place colorful, crazy and a little scary. I never knew that there was a long escalator in Guthrie Theater. I don’t know too much about this place. But overall great gift shop! And on the ninth floor I didn’t notice a small glass floor and I sometimes get the fear of stepping o
I have been to the Guthrie Theater many times over the years and enjoyed the views from the different areas of the theater that are open to the public. Recently I saw my first performance there, and it was A Christmas Carol. I was blown away by the production!! Everything about the show was incred
We love the Guthrie! We get the preview pass package and it’s phenomenal deal. We love the built in date night we get about once a month. Also as a yearly member it comes with lots of benefits like missed show insurance and ability to reschedule the tickets easily if needed (pay the difference for a
I just visited, I didn't see a show but the building is incredible and the views are spectacular of the Mississippi, Saint Anthony Falls, and the Stone Arch bridge. Also the views of the Mills are fantastic. The overhang is a beautiful relaxing place to sit down and enjoy the scenery. The Amber room
It was the most amazing time that I had had with my son and my husband. And I'm hoping that we can do it again in the future. The only problem that we had was It was kind of expensive so hopefully the tickets won't be so expensive yet.
A beautiful building at a now great location. Plenty of places to walk to from here and picnic before you see a play there. A venue I look forward to going to again.
I have not watched any show here. We walked in just to take a peak at the interior. A gentleman/usher (there was on ongoing show) suggested we go up to check out the viewing area/overlook (free entry). It does offer a nice view overlooking the River, Bridge and Falls. There also is a room with a gla
First show at the Guthrie and it was great! Beautiful building, great show, comfy seats. Really nice email with details on what to expect for parking and dining and such was sent the week prior. Very thoughtful. We will definitely be back!
This theater is beautiful and feels intimate, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Additionally the bathroom facilities are plentiful, maybe the fast line for a female restroom at an event that I've ever stood in. I know that is a funny thing to comment on but I've been to many plays at o
We were there for the show, a christmas carol. great singing. terrific sound effects. I highly recommend seeing the show.
Great shows in a beautiful building. I've been to two shows this year. Each we're thoughtfully done. Every one of the ushers is happy to help and the seating in both theaters allows for good views of the stage from just about anywhere. The theater itself is a fun building. I really appreciate the d
Went to the matinee showing of a Christmas carol. It was a great show. Wish the seats were a little larger for taller folks like myself but outside of that it was a lot of fun ! Staff was very helpful! Chowgirls does the catering and it was awesome. The cookies were great and the drinks pack a punch
I've seen several plays here, and it never disappoints. High quality performers and staging. Not a bad seat in the house. Excellent location along the Mississipi, hotels within walking distance, restaurants, and a connected garage.
Amazing theater. If you live in Minnesota see something here. If you are visiting from out of state put this on your to do list. See their website for last minute and rush tickets etc. Gorgeous building with great views, be sure to explore! Such great talent here. Outstanding in every way.
