The European cafe vibe in the neighborhood. The dessert and cafe spot is adorable. The prices are reasonable, the ice cream was tasty but isn’t as creamy as I would have liked. The service was kind and they had a pretty big menu too. Surprised they were open later on a Sunday which was nice.

Cute little lunch spot that makes their own ice cream. They offer a variety of sandwiches and ice cream. They also have non-dairy ice cream options! Those are in the smaller tubs in the display case. Cookies and brownies are available too. Check out the freezer case for other desserts. Some flavors change with the season.

Never tried non dairy ice cream before and was hesitant, but these homemade flavors are fantastic. Had chocolate and cookie flavor and were just as good as the original flavors offered here. Cute, clean, and professional shoppe. I wish I lived closer.

Very classy place and quire appropriate for the neighborhood it is at. The atmosphere is pleasant and elegant. Very clean place. The flavors are intriguing, I got sweet basil vanilla and marzipan, my companion got ruharb and something else.. $23 dollars.
Once upon a time I managed a Ben & Jerry's in the Marina district in San Francisco. In my humble opinion, stingy serving size. As I saw the lady getting each scoop of ice cream I thought.. Oh wow she must be joking... But she was not.
I think this place could be considered uptown? Maybe it is like LA where you want to go out and drop lots of cash that you just have to spend, but yet you don't want to ingest lots of calories. So what's better than a place that sells you overthetop expensive small servings of ice cream? I know that's a thing. If that's your thing, go here!
As for me, I will keep trying other places until I find one that fits my budget and my palate.
This is a description of my experience. Still get five stars because it does deserve it. Just not a place for me.

The texture is different but the flavor is apparent. They have 5 vegan options. All sorbet, the staff is friendly and there to stay.
It's got vibe of a quaint lil cafe.
All in all I like the location just south of Uptown, east of Lake Bda Ska.

Great place to get ice cream. They have fun flavors that change frequently (great reason to come back!). Last time I went I had a Purple Reign, a fun, tasty nod to a certain favorite Minneapolis native.
The atmosphere is clean and fresh and everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating. Tons of people bike to La La in the summer for a refreshing treat. They even have a handy water bowl outside for your furry friend.

Fantastic service! Had a sandwich and ice cream. Sandwich was great and so many different flavors or ice cream to choose from! Hard to make a decision. I went with a coconut choc chip. Yum! Enjoy!

An absolute gem! Our extended family loves ice cream and this is as good as it gets. Memorable flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Some of my favorites are Raspberry with honey, Basil vanilla, cappuccino, almond coconut. Other great choices are oil and balsamic vinegar sorbert, homemade soda waters (strawberry rhubarb), soups, salads, sandwiches, pie, bars etc. Everything homemade! Great atmosphere and sidewalk tables.

Ice cream was rich, creamy, and delicious (I got the basil flavor). My wife ordered a float with their homemade soda and one of their simpler ice cream flavors. She enjoyed it tremendously. This is a gourmet ice cream shop and you pay the gourmet price, but if you are looking for quality then I would recommend this place. The location is also nice because it is off the beaten path and is fairly quiet at night.

Cute little homemade ice cream shop with so great many flavors! They also have a wide variety of yummy treats, including gluten free and dairy free options. I got the almond cappuccino ice cream and it did not disappoint. We would come here again!

The ice cream is so good!! Might be the best in the area. Such creative flavors too. The lavender shortbread cookies and homemade sodas with real fruit pulp are amazing as well. Such a cute store and ambiance too. I’ll be a regular this summer.

This shop makes the best ice cream around. The flavours are inventive and interesting, and not sickly sweet (an adult pallet). The wait time is never too long (but yes, there is sometimes a line because..it is so good!). The staff are always friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere is the quintessential ice cream shop and the drinking water on the tables is PERFECT! La La has totally nailed it!

I found my new ice cream shop. I had the vanilla basil at the shop and brought home a pint of real vanilla. This is one of the best vanillas I've had and the basil was so interesting and refreshing. I look forward to warm summer nights visiting the shop this summer.

Excellent, friendly staff and even better ice creams! I've been blown away by every flavor I've tried and the Raspberry Fennel Sorbet is my life right now. Just tried the Parsley Mint Sorbet for the first time tonight and it may quickly climb to being a new favorite!
So happy to live only a few blocks away. Can't imagine a week going by without my fix!

When we walked in, there were no other customers. We had a few questions but wanted to order. A large group came in and walked up to the counter beside us and started ordering. The ladies behind the counter quit talking our order and started waiting on the large group. So rude. The root beer is not what you would expect a root beer to taste like. Ice cream had lots of crystals in it as well. Not a good quality for the price.

I was so excited to see there is an ice cream shop in walking distance from my house. I will now have to try every flavor, as it was tough to make a decision. (Purple Rain) was a great choice. Best ice cream I've had in years! Also, the baked brownie was a nice add on to take home. Can't wait to come back!

This is right down the street from me. Cute new ice cream shop with limited vegan choices of sorbets for now. They were quite boring and nothing to write home about. I encouraged them to expand their vegan ice cream options seeing how well Milkjam creamery is doing in the same hood and has a great and awesome vegan selection. LaLa seemed receptive to the feedback.

A wonderful little spot right by my house! Great options for the classic ice cream eater and the eccentric (try the sweet basil vanilla!) You can tell it's homemade and hand crafted, something you can't get just anywhere. Much better atmosphere and quality than other local places like milkjam or Sebastian Joe's.
