This shop makes the best ice cream around. The flavours are inventive and interesting, and not sickly sweet (an adult pallet). The wait time is never too long (but yes, there is sometimes a line because..it is so good!). The staff are always friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere is the quintessential ice cream shop and the drinking water on the tables is PERFECT! La La has totally nailed it!
I found my new ice cream shop. I had the vanilla basil at the shop and brought home a pint of real vanilla. This is one of the best vanillas I've had and the basil was so interesting and refreshing. I look forward to warm summer nights visiting the shop this summer.
The European cafe vibe in the neighborhood. The dessert and cafe spot is adorable. The prices are reasonable, the ice cream was tasty but isn’t as creamy as I would have liked. The service was kind and they had a pretty big menu too. Surprised they were open later on a Sunday which was nice.
Cute little lunch spot that makes their own ice cream. They offer a variety of sandwiches and ice cream. They also have non-dairy ice cream options! Those are in the smaller tubs in the display case. Cookies and brownies are available too. Check out the freezer case for other desserts. Some flavors change with the season.
Never tried non dairy ice cream before and was hesitant, but these homemade flavors are fantastic. Had chocolate and cookie flavor and were just as good as the original flavors offered here. Cute, clean, and professional shoppe. I wish I lived closer.

Very classy place and quire appropriate for the neighborhood it is at. The atmosphere is pleasant and elegant. Very clean place. The flavors are intriguing, I got sweet basil vanilla and marzipan, my companion got ruharb and something else.. $23 dollars.
Once upon a time I managed a Ben & Jerry's in the Marina district in San Francisco. In my humble opinion, stingy serving size. As I saw the lady getting each scoop of ice cream I thought.. Oh wow she must be joking... But she was not.
I think this place could be considered uptown? Maybe it is like LA where you want to go out and drop lots of cash that you just have to spend, but yet you don't want to ingest lots of calories. So what's better than a place that sells you overthetop expensive small servings of ice cream? I know that's a thing. If that's your thing, go here!
As for me, I will keep trying other places until I find one that fits my budget and my palate.
This is a description of my experience. Still get five stars because it does deserve it. Just not a place for me.
The texture is different but the flavor is apparent. They have 5 vegan options. All sorbet, the staff is friendly and there to stay.
It's got vibe of a quaint lil cafe.
All in all I like the location just south of Uptown, east of Lake Bda Ska.

A lovely little ice cream shop with lots of unique flavors. I had oat milk, lavender, and burnt honey, and it was divine!
I got the marzipan ice cream in a cherry soda and it was amazing!!!! My spouse can’t eat dairy but there were plenty of vegan options! Friendly staff too.
Great place to get ice cream. They have fun flavors that change frequently (great reason to come back!). Last time I went I had a Purple Reign, a fun, tasty nod to a certain favorite Minneapolis native.
The atmosphere is clean and fresh and everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating. Tons of people bike to La La in the summer for a refreshing treat. They even have a handy water bowl outside for your furry friend.
Fantastic service! Had a sandwich and ice cream. Sandwich was great and so many different flavors or ice cream to choose from! Hard to make a decision. I went with a coconut choc chip. Yum! Enjoy!
An absolute gem! Our extended family loves ice cream and this is as good as it gets. Memorable flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Some of my favorites are Raspberry with honey, Basil vanilla, cappuccino, almond coconut. Other great choices are oil and balsamic vinegar sorbert, homemade soda waters (strawberry rhubarb), soups, salads, sandwiches, pie, bars etc. Everything homemade! Great atmosphere and sidewalk tables.
