Review Cajun Boiling - Minneapolis

We went on Thanksgiving day and they were open. We order king crab, two clusters of snow crab, shrimp, potatoes, eggs and corn. With spicy sauce and regular butter on the side. With a side of fries and that was crunchy and soft too. It was for a little over 100$ and it filled two people up. They bought out the food fast it was cleaned properly. It was a haven for us because dinner at relatives were terrible. It was a nice space for people who don't have family and friends. Music was great. Thanks for being open and the food was lovely.

My partner and I LOVE this place. We go for a lot of our special occasions as it’s a bit of a splurge price-wise. We’ve always done take out and it’s been fantastic - people complaining about lack of flavor/sauce simply ordered the wrong one for their preference. We always get the Boiling Special, Spicy, and have never been disappointed. So full of spice and flavor, and portions (we get Shrimp Head On and Green Mussels) are huge. The lunch deal is also a great option if you can pick up before 3pm.

This place is awesome. As a food critic, seafood is my favorite of all. Living in MN, seafood can be very expensive and the prices here were not bad, at all. The seafood was a little overcooked, but oh goodness, it was seasoned so well it was worth the lookover. The boys working the counter were relaxed, cool, and respectful. I appreciate the experience and I will be back with friends and family. Overall a good experience. 👍

Got take out tonight for dinner. First time here and when I got my food it smelt like heaven! And omg was it. Only thing I wish was a bit more for what I paid for the feast, but inflation sucks and I know stuff is expensive and got cut down on some things. But overall best seafood boil I have had in a long time. Thank you guys for amazing food! And to think the only way I found out about you guys is because someone on tiktok reviewed you guys. So I said I must try!! Oh! And Smoothies were 100/10

Cool spot. Food was descent and reasonably priced. Hapoy Hour specials were good. A group of us had dinner while in town for an event. Nothing bad, Nothing super special, service was fair. Overall I would eat here again if I was in town. (I had the build your own crab bag and Cajun wings)

First time here. have been to others crab boil establishments. This was by far the best! I love an hour away. Ordered when I got there and the food was still piping hot when I got home! The sauce was DELICIOUS. VERY IMPRESSED.

I had the headless shrimp boil with a side of garlic bread. Great experience. It happened to be my birthday and and treated fantastic. My friend had the fried shrimp with cajun fries. I tasted, it was good, but was glad I went with the boil. Will return for special events. Not a cheap meal but worth it for occasional seafood treat.

My first time in Minneapolis and decided to give some seafood a try. This place was close to me. I spent about 10 mins trying to find parking. I went around 2pm, so it wasn’t busy at all. Our food came out really fast. The food was flavorful. The corn needs to be cooked longer. It was hard. I only ordered their boiled food. The lady taking orders was very nice and respectful. You order your food, pay, and then go sit anywhere you want to if you’re dining in.

Very nice staff, attentive and friendly. Help us with peeling craw fish as we never had it before. Spicy is spicy! Lol would recommend to others who want to try some food like this. Came in a bag with all the juices and you put it on your tray. When you want to take it home they put it in a bag for you too!

The bad reviews made me try it. Because the bad reviews were all 'you'll get your hands dirty' 'its messy' 'no presentation.' Its a mf'ing cajun boil, that's the stuff you want. We got two rounds of boil. First was 1lbs of crawfish, 1/2 lbs black mussels, and 1/2 lbs clams. All sauces. Spicy. Its was so good that we got another round of 1lbs crawfish 1/2 lbs head-on shrimp. First round was better. I think having the bivalves I. The boil made the flavors richer. I will be back. It wasn't crowded at dinner time on a Friday, which makes me nervous for its future. So, give it a try and get dirty!

I usually get my seafood boils from here. Not too much garlic used so it became my favorite spot for awhile. However, I wish the peeled shrimp were cleaned better. I’ve developed a habit of inspecting them before I eat them.

This place was really great overall that's why I gave it five stars the food was fresh hot and tasty they were also able to accommodate our party of 10 fast the only thing I would say is that they probably needed more cooks or maybe they were just busy but it just took a little long for the food to come out but it was really good place must try. I had the lb of shrimp no head with sausage!

I just LOVE their seafood boils!! SO delicious! 😋 If to critique anything, it would be their parking situation. Parking was a little hard to find. But once I did, everything else was great. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for good seafood boils. 👍🏾

Way over hyped. The crab legs were ok, but we ordered "medium" spicy and burned our mouths off. The place is confused. Seems like a Chinese restaurant that decided to try their hand at Cajun... Attentive waiter. The smell in the place was a bit off putting. Won't be coming back.

We LOVED this place. My fiance' lived in New Orleans for a year and he approved! (He's super picky about authenticity in his Creole/Cajun cuisines) We ordered the crawdads and blue crab and a shrimp po'boy. We slso tied the fried shrimp basket, but that was just "okay"... The service was fast and food served piping hot and as ordered. I asked for the fire spice level and holy crap!! They gave me what I asked for. The waitress brought over a complimentary cup of milk on ice. Lol! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

From a person whos father is from the deep South and an African mother I know flavor and unfortunately it lacked such, cajan fries were Eh, my fiance had the PoBoy and he also mentioned that hes had better, we appreciate the effort but it feel short of what could have been a Big Hit in such a great location. Service was nice, made sure drinks were filled and we had everything we needed. Fun for the try & something different.

I had the get your hands dirty shrimp and it was good! Mild was HOT for me. Garlic shrimp is extremely garlicky. I still smell like garlic.

I ordered a blue crab sandwich and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. Literally. The crab tasted like it was fried days ago and re-fried upon placing the order. It was soggy, and you could tell that it was FAR from fresh, and there was no meat inside of the crab due to it being refried. Needless to say, Cajun Boiling will not be getting any more of my dollars. Disgusting.

Being from South Carolina I can say the food is pretty tasty and some want Cajun. The seafood fried rice was really good. Me and family will eat here again soon.
