Al's Place - Minneapolis - Photo album

Excellent, but it's a secret! ;-) Craft cocktails, appetizers, and Italian entres in a "smoky" speakeasy (mist, not real smoke!) Highly recommended. Live singer on Friday and Saturday nights.
This place is great. The ambiance is amazing. We went there for New Year's. I am not a nacho person at all and their nachos were to die for. I am going to be dreaming of these nachos in the future. They had good music playing. It is small, but cozy.
The best "furniture store" around! For real though, super fun entrance up the smokey staircase, the staff is great, live music is awesome. Very good hand crafted cocktails, small food menu but everything was very good! Definitely coming back with a larger crew. Mac and cheese in the photo.
Fantastic!!! My new favorite place for a fun evening with friends. Love the secret staircase entrance, faux smokey atmosphere, friendly & fun wait staff, awesome live singer, and just the overall prohibition atmosphere. It was better than I expected!! I will be taking more friends here. Also del
Burlesque Brunch with Al’s Gals was an awesome time! My only critique-having the gluten free and vegan menus be the same was a bit of a bummer. The first three courses were exclusively fruits and vegetables. Otherwise the drinks were great and the performers were excellent!
Fun quirky spot worth checking out! We found the "secret" entrance outside stanleys (unmarked door w a green light above it) and knocked. Someone asked us how they could help us through a peephole, I responded with "were looking for barstools!" and in we went! The cocktails were delicious, the servi
What a fun little place! I went for the weekly Sunday burlesque brunch, and will certainly be returning many times (with anyone I can drag along!) for drinks in the evening.
Great atmosphere, very useful knowledge, and the Dr. & Anton are the bomb! Learned more about cocktail making then I care to admit, and it was fun. We plan on returning for an evening with friends and family!
Loved the ambience and aesthetics. Our cocktails and food were delicious too! My husband and I did the date night deal for $35 for 3 course meal. Worth it!😊😋
The food was good and the drinks were great. It wasn't too busy. There is a dress code which we followed but doesn't actually seemed to be enforced. It was a cool vibe but not busy.
Dr. Sunshine and Mad-Dawg are the best in the business. Highly recommend bringing a group here and ordering off the captains list in order to get the full experience. The bruschetta is also delicious.
Great fun up in the speakeasy! Staff in period costumes, great drinks and food. The singer was fantastic!!! I'll be back!
Our small company had our holiday party at the bar. It was really fun. The bar tenders were accommodating with taking photos, and the drinks were superb. The apps were great but we didn't do dining so I can't say much more about the food or the dining seating. I could see this place being nice for a
My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Al’s Place! We knocked on the door outside of Stanley's under the green light. After about 20 seconds, Big Lou looked through the peephole and warmly greeted us after we told him we were looking for furniture. We climbed the steep stairway to be greeted
Second to none if you're looking for great cocktails and a different environment. Sunshine is the best. He was kind enough to show me and my lady a little insight to how the drinks are created. The blood and sand was unique and unforgettable. Asked him to just make me whatever and I was served the
Ask the FBI, this is a fun place. But you need to know the password. I would recommend you don't tell anyone. Would sure hate for this place to get even more crowded. Seriously. What a blast!!
Had a memorable experience and will be back. The atmosphere, service, food and drinks were a perfect combination and sent us back to the 20’s. Al’s is meticulously curated and unexpectedly comfortable. Would have stayed all night if it wasn’t a Thursday 😉 PS: check out the date night deal and do you
I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment you knock on the door you are transported to the prohibition era. Every little detail was well thought out and executed, from the smoke in the air to the 20’s music to the staff’s outfits and dialect, and even the tabs (most everything is named af
