Chindian Cafe - Minneapolis - Photo album

This was a good place for lunch and the food was pretty good. This was also the first time we went there so we weren't sure of the spiciness of their scale... If you're looking for spicy, go higher then you think. We both asked for a medium spice and since we were unsure I'm guessing they went conse
Went for lunch on a Thursday around 1130am. Work in the area but this is my first visit. Very quiet for a lunch hour but it was a rainy day so that may be a factor. The tables are set with no condiments napkins etc. so that appears not as inviting. I sat and was brought a menu. It was pointed out th
Genuinely love this place and was gutted when they had to shut down late in the pandemic. I relied on Chin Dian for lunches and dinners as it was on my 1.5 mile route to and from my former office, just blocks away from their location. We often ordered catering for business meetings and there were ra
This place is exactly what I've been hoping for for years! Amazing street type food with great ingredients, gluten free options and crazy good spice! They also put thought and care into their ingredients. Sourcing organic, local and grass fed. So yummy food without the gut bomb:) We went with our 3
The food tasted good. I went with a 4/5 spicy, but it wasn’t too overwhelming. It was in fact perfect. The chili chicken pieces were somewhat big, compared to what they are supposed to be but it was quite delicious. The quantity was good for two people easily. I got a chicken fried rice and a chili
Had a very nice lunch here with friends. Very good food...menu a nice combo of Indian and Chinese dishes. We liked that we were given a choice of how spicy (hot) we wanted our choices. They seem to also do a good take out business. We we'll be back.
Went here with my family last week and loved it. I grew up here and remember it as an old-style corner store with a gas station across the street. I love that such a charming diner has taken this space. Tasty food, friendly staff able to answer odd questions with ease. I'd give it a five but I d
Read a few reviews of this place so I decided to check them out for lunch last week as it was not far off that day's commute. I must say, the lunch was really good and distinct from your average American/Chinese restaurant. The order itself was for sweet/sour chicken w/ sauce on the side. The pieces
Absolutely fantastic food. The sweet and sour chicken was best I've ever had- fresh pineapple, big chunks of onion, big pieces of moist, breaded chicken, and amazing sauce- I loved that some of the sweetness came from apple. Prompt, professional service. The cream cheese wontons were also the best I
This place is fantastic. I live in the neighborhood and had it for the first time yesterday- I was blown away. Gluten free calamari?!! Amazing! Everything was great, the owner Thomas was wonderful. Good prices for the portions. I will be coming back!
Very good food. I read a previous review that said the service was a little slow, but I do not see that as a negative. I think it indicates that each dish is prepared right after you order it. I will definitely be going back there. I also will try to get my Friday Night meeting to go there as we go
Great food all around the menu. I like the Chicken Chow Mei Fun. Egg rolls and spring rolls are wonderful. With control of spiciness from a scale of 1-5, you can make it as hot or tolerable as you'd like. Plus, the owners are just great, really friendly people.
Great chefs over there at CD Kitchen. They can put that homemade feels into a take out! I know where to go when I have little time to take care of myself.. At least dinner is done right and I'd pay anything for that 👌.
I set business lunch meetings here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. The Indian and Chinese fusion produces great tasting menu offerings. The Five-spice shrimp is always prepared to perfection. Their own hot ginger tea is a real treat, especially during cold winter weather. Highly recommended.
A great fusion of Chinese and Indian food. Don't go starving as you will wait for your food as there is a crowd and it is the wife taking the orders and the husband cooking. I went in a group and had my baby with me and the wife kept cooing and you could tell how much she enjoyed babies. The husband
Great food, friendly staff, accommodating to different dietary requirements. It's a great mix of Indian, Malaysian, and Chinese ingredients and spices. The Vietnamese style egg rolls are perfect, the Malaysian dishes (sorry, can't spell them) are delightful, the Chinese and Indian fusion dishes are
Have only done take out, but the lunch special is always a great value. The flavors and portions are just right. Plus the cream cheese wontons with unique and amazing dipping sauce is a must have.
