Every time I come in here I wonder why I don’t come more often! Great coffee & other drinks, nice staff, good food, lovely baked goods and in my neighborhood! Love their roasted whole bean coffee to take home too! They sell fresh Christmas trees too and the building is lovely. Highly recommend.
Hard to beat the relaxed atmosphere at Nokomis Beach Coffee in the heart of the Nokomis East neighborhood just two blocks east of Lake Nokomis. Great brick coffeehouse with friendly staff, excellent coffee, fresh baked bread, oatmeal, waffles, pastries, soup, sandwiches, salads, wraps, ice cream, and shakes. Great location, handy for lake and airport pickup/dropoff. If you like coffee at a good price with good food and no frills, look no further. Not a boutique, this is comfortable.
Lovely, cozy little spot for quality coffees. I was waited on by the owner himself who is witty and sassy. It was my first time there, and I had the Noko, served cold. It was delicious! Will definitely be back.
Such a great spot for coffee and a quick bite. Great atmosphere very unpretentious like so many of these new “craft coffee” hipster joints. Good people and good quality coffee.
We frequent this place and love it. If you’re looking for a casual lunch or a great Italian soda you need to go here. The servers are so quick to recognize you after the first time and are so sweet. We also recommend stopping by the store attached for some unique finds.
Very good drinks, they use Monin syrup 😋 which is the best.
Just wish they had gluten free goodies. The chocolate cookie with peanut butter inside it that my hubby had looked very yummy.

A Nokomis hidden gem! a perfect stop on the way to or from Nokomis Lake. Super friendly staff, tasty drinks that are reasonably priced for a local coffee shop and really good food. There's a pretty big menu with hot, iced, and blended drinks in regular or large sizes. For food, theres soups, sandwiches, wraps, and cake. Plus, they have indoor and outdoor seating.
Noisy with grinding coffee and fancy drinks. Can't be helped, but acoustics make conversation difficult. Front door hard to open, especially when carrying food and drink. Many chairs need to be reupholstered. Food great!
Parking outside I find classic wire tables and chairs under and outside an awning. Walking in is a wash of sound, and there are 5 people inside and no one is talking. Something post grunge from the late 90s was playing. Local artist works are available for sale on the wall. In the furthest seat possible is a guy with a The Lemonheads shirt on, hunkered over a laptop. Am I in Bellingham, WA in 1996? That's not a dig.
Woman at the counter was super nice. She seemed nervous as she said "thank you" in a dismissing way getting ready for the next customer, then quickly realizing I hadn't paid. It was a happy funny moment.
Coffee maker seemingly, and with just the appropriate coffeehouse dismissiveness, wanted me to hurry up and tell me my order already even though he was standing 3 feet from us while in his phone. He was neither rude nor pleasant.
Coffee was delicious. Waffle thing not so much.
