Tony Jaro's River Garden - Minneapolis - Photo album

Northeast Minneapolis Home of the Greenies, we have been going for years. If your looking for a great place known for a drink, we'll this I'd the spot 😉. They are something special and have a little kick also. Give them a try, you shouldn't be disappointed.
NE Minneapolis to me still has that charm of working class blue collar neighborhoods. It’s holding on and so are many of the neighborhood bars in this area. Each having one thing in common. Keeping it simple and doing it right is a good business plan. Tony Jaros is one of these gems. Old school
The Greenies did not disappoint. My friends and I stopped by and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty these drinks were! Kind of tasted like Mountain Dew but better. A little bit of an older crowd here BUT Tony Jaros is still college-student approved.
Wow, this place is an absolute blast! Went with a group of seven and got a table right at the entrance by the claw machine. Our server was on us right away and our drinks (Greenies!) all came out very quickly. Those drinks are no joke - we each got a different color after finishing our Greenie and w
Fun neighborhood bar. You'll start with a greenie and be tempted to try all the other colors. You'll be glad you did..until the next morning!

Great place if your a sports fan, The green drink is awesome
It’s great to keep an old school establishment that doesn’t require any changes!
I thought Jaros' had closed up for good... 😭 But only for COVID! On a random drive-by, I saw a light on and stopped in. I got myself a Greenie! And bartender Brian (Tony's grandson) is the BOMB! I'll be back with the hordes!!
Love it. Many decades has the family patronized Jaros. Good place to swing in, watch some sports, and have great service. The do have a menu that's pretty good bar food.
It's Jaros. The same as it's been. Have a Greeny cuz that is what you do at Jaro's
Bartender was cool but the guy next to me wasn't happy a spanish speaking girl was sitting next time him.... Whatever.
Jaro's River Garden is spectacular. Always a good gathering of interesting people, both the regular crowd and new or infrequent visitors. Everyone seems to be welcoming . Drinks are fabulous and the small menu is great. Go have some fun .
A friend and I heard how good the burgers are here so we got some to takeout. I got the house burger which comes with American cheese, fried onions and pickles. He got the wedge burger. And we shared an order of fries. We were so happy with our double patty burgers! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. A
