Purple Onion - Minneapolis - Photo album

Pros: Tons of space Lots of Big Windows, and great view of campus Tasty coffee Wonderful kitchen Friendly staff Cons: ... Just be aware that you will most likely need to do street parking, which is metered. But totes worth it. The onion is the BOMB
Warm and well-lit café on campus. Ordered this freshly baked cranberry and orange muffin...loved it!...definitely coming back again🙌
With a beautiful patio and awesome food this place is amazing and shouldn’t be overlooked. The Tuna sandwich and Mexican veggie sandwich with Cajun fries was amazing. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent Service! There was a slightly screw up on my order. I originally told them not to worry about it. But the owner was worried he went above & beyond. When most people would go 100% he went double. To make sure customers satisfaction. Knew that I had to walk across campus. Gave me a box to c
The food was pretty good! I got the all American breakfast. The bacon was great! The potatoes were a bit undercooked, but I kinda like them that way so it was no problem. All my friends really loved their food too and said the coffee was amazing. My only problem was with the hot coco, which just tas
I was a fan of this place back when it was in the old location with Bob Dylan up on the wall. The new location has great tables for reading and studying and well situated. They have a huge menu of every coffee you can imagine including their great cold press. The staff is very friendly.
I like the drinks and the atmosphere, fun place to study, but I definitely don't go for the food. It tastes good, but the portions are so small that I'd rather get breakfast somewhere else and then go there for drinks. The guy who makes eggs is very nice.
This wonderful cafe has been here forever and it always is buzzing with people! Perhaps some might not like it because of this but personally I love the lively atmosphere because there is plenty of space all around. Amazing dark roast, lattes, mochas, etc. They do it all! And they have icecream and
It's a decent place to sit down and work or have a conversation. While there, I ordered a hot chocolate. It was as expected, nothing too extravagant. I am not the type of person to spend many hours in coffee shops, so my stay was sufficient. All in all I would recommend in most cases.
today was my first time at purple onion, and i really enjoyed it! the employee who helped me was really friendly, which is always a plus. i got a tea to start out and later got a quesadilla, and i thought they were both reasonably priced for a rather trendy cafe. i mostly just camped out for a few h
a great spot for students and other professionals who want a space to work and be around other productive people. it’s not necessarily quiet—in fact, i’ve really only ever been to this place when it’s insanely busy. if you’re the coordinator or the first in a group, try to get there early to snag a
Love the Purple Onion's commitment to preserving the environment and supporting local business. Wide selection of food and coffee. Cost atmosphere, tons of windows for a connection to the outdoors. Great place adjacent to campus to study and meet with friends.
Ive been to the Purple Onion a handful of times and it just struck me today how much I appreciate it. You will not find better quality food for the same price anywhere else near campu . A warm tuna melt with fries and a large vanilla coffee for 12 dollars flat is something that should not be taken f
