I enjoy the casual atmosphere of Maxwell's. Great beer selection with many great drink options. Craft beer varieties are available as are the old standards. Very nice bartenders too. Plus tables are available outside to enjoy nice weather. Enjoy!

A great 60+ year old dive bar. Great people lots of fun. Josh the bartender is a great guy! We didn't have any food but I'm sure it's great.

Great place. Loved the food: we had burgers, tots, sloppy joes. Service was great. Very clean neighborhood gem. Also have TV’s on for sports.

Great spot! Bartender was so nice, got us food even after kitchen closed and protected us (2 girls) from creepy guys. Definitely recommend as a divey spot!

Stopped in Friday evening after driving 200 miles in the blizzard. Service was good and beers came quickly. Had pizza roll apps, salad, and crispy buff chix sandwich. My dinner mate went with the roast beef sandwich. All of the food was quite bland. Everything was tender and properly cooked, just no flavor. I don't know that I'd give them another try.

The food was good. Usually the service is great. But when I had to use butter knives for chop sticks. At least ask if I need a knife . I was sitting at the bar. I always tip 15%. Im sad today cause of the experience

Maxwell’s has been a local favorite for years, but it was almost destroyed in 2008. The building, also home to Scandia Furniture, caught fire on a February morning. Luckily, the fire was put out, repairs were made, and Maxwell’s once again became a favorite downtown corner bar.
