Gandhi Mahal - Minneapolis - Photo album

We always get takeout and there are a variety of fun specials during the week to encourage return trips. Prices are sneaking up a little bit as long as they don’t get too expensive I will eat here frequently. Never dined in, doesn’t seem super well suited for it.
The food here is quite authentic to say the least. The combination of herbs and spices in their entrees make the food flavorful. The basmati rice is perfect for these type of dishes. The service was good and the time to receive our food was on point. I highly recommend for first timer to get the naa
Authentic and awesome! Currently no dine in.. and kind of sketch area.. but delicious. 1 star off because they dont label the dishes in your go bag and unless you're super familiar, you dont know what is what. But yum!
I've eaten at over a dozen Indian restaurants and this is the best my husband and I have visited. The service was good, the food was excellent, the live music made me want to dance and the vibe set a romantic tone. Overall, it was a perfect experience and I highly recommend trying this place!
I immediately appreciated this restaurant for not making their food (especially the channa) oily. Naan could have been buttered but went very well with the channa. The buffet also included equally tasty lentil and aloo sabji options to have with the seasoned or basmati rice. The aloo bajjis were qui
Great food, colorful interior, good prices, right off West River Parkway, Gandhi Mahal will become a regular stop for me.
Super nice Indian food. Somewhat on the spicy side though. All in all a great experience - but I am sucker for good Indian food.
The food is absolutely fantastic - you're going to be paying a touch more than a basic Indian restaurant, but holy moly, it's soooo good! The only complaint I have is that the wait was incredibly long - my wife placed our order last night and was told to arrive in 20-25 minutes (we ordered to go). S
My first authentic Indian food and it was great. Cool atmosphere, awesome service, generous portions, and great food. Will definitely be back.
I LOVE Gandhi Mahal!!!! This is my go-to Indian place every time I am back in the Twin Cities. I believe they grow and use all their own spices. Be warned... if you order “spicy” it’s not midwestern-spicy. It’s the real deal. As a lot of my buddies are in the Seward/Longfellow area we will freque
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Minnesota. The setting is very nicely set up and the food is outstanding! The foods I would recommend are the Biryani, Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka (Chicken Lovers), and the Rogan Josh (Lamb Lovers)... Make sure to also get Naan! No Indian food is good without th
I relatively recently moved to the area, I am from a small town with very little food diversity/choices. I decided to give something new a try. LET ME TELL YOU. I had an out of body experience. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and a samosa with green chutney. It was one of the most delicious meals
Serves as name, standard restaurant. -Good test of indian food -Indian theme -classical music around you - even they do live music -Resturant looks like old indian village theme Which reminds me home. Cons. Lightning inside restaurant could be more as looks dark in evening time
Great food and convenient location! Dig the vegan options, and many of them!
I loved this place! Food tastes so good and it was so peaceful!
