Review Que Viet - Minneapolis

Went for lunch, the egg rolls seemed to be highly recommend. They were piping hot, stuffed full of filling, and ultimately- DELICIOUS. Food came quickly, staff were helpful and friendly. Big place, had some quiet music playing in the background. Pho Thai was good, but I’ve had better broth elsewhere in the Cities. Plenty of food for the price point. Would get something besides Pho next time I go.

If all I'd had was the egg roll, I would give them 5 stars- so unbelievably good. You should go and just get a bunch of egg rolls. However, I also got fried rice with pork & chicken and thought it needed more flavor and the chicken was dry. Which is what brings my rating down to a 4. My husband got the pho. The service was great, everyone was so nice!

The beef & potatoes are a must try, so delicious! And the best egg rolls in Minneapolis! It’s been a staple in NE Minneapolis for a very long time.

Que Viet dinner: beef with crispy potatoes and chicken chow mein. Both tasty, in fact, Bobby couldn't wait to get bck to have the beef with crispy potatoes which come in a finger-licking suce. This is a neighborhood-type restaurant that closes at 8:00 - which means at 7:55 they lean over your table and whisk your empty plates away without a word and begin spraying tables to clean them - leaving unfortunate smells to replace the lovely food aromas. Wait staff definitely needs training in customer service.

Best egg rolls in Mpls- thin, crispy skins and plenty of filling. I can barely drive home with these in the car as the smell is just mouthwatering. This place is always delicious

Always a Favorite! My parents and I have been going here for over 30 years. Portions are phenomenal and economical. Never had you had an egg roll so large and flaky. The flavor is amazing. Staff is very kind and on top of their service. Even if you're looking to grab dinner on your way home, you will make it in and out in under 15 minutes. Their ingredients are consistent and plentiful. Be aware of the hours because there is a break in the day where they are not open. Their recent renovations have put them up with other hip spots in the metro area. I love what you've done with the place and love even more that my favorite dishes haven't changed. Keep up the excellent work! Can't wait to visit again.

Delicious and wonderful food. We simply love it. Highly recommend to visit then . Cleaned and well maintained. Staffs are friendly and every staff are wearing masks and they maintain all the protocols. Food is awesome at their best , egg rolls are wonderful, we love the vegetable roll also. Lo me-in are best. I wonder about their prices, it’s really pocket friendly. Should come again.

This place is convenient and close to where I work as a delivery driver. I wish they were open later than 8pm though. Great chicken egg foo young! Egg rolls could be less greasy. The staff is friendly and accommodating even when they’re about to close.

Look no further, the best. Period. The entire menu!!! I have been dining out or taking food to go for 30 years. Fantastic!! My faves, egg rolls and hot & spicy chicken.

Straight up delicious and big egg rolls. So comforting. Same over the decades.. 4 decades of picking up food..mostly egg rolls when I pass by. They eat like a meal. Homemade dipping sauce. Thank you.. Stay yummy!

Delicious, flavorful, and generous portions....also, the egg rolls are a must when you visit. The atmosphere is relaxing (as if you're at home) and the staff has been pleasant and helpful every time we dine-in or take-out. This place is a favorite of ours.

Great food. Their egg rolls are super yummy! Quick service. I only gave the atmosphere a 3 because it’s kinda small and feels a little crowded in there even is it’s not busy.

We love Que Viet the Village House for its egg rolls, Hot and Spicy Chicken, and it's Lomein. Each offers a generous portion with ample opportunity for sharing. It is our favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities for Americanized Vietnamese cuisine. Their new location on Grand Avenue in St. Paul offers the same menu but expands on it by also offering additional dishes which are considered "more traditional" Vietnamese fare.

a great little place with great food and service! portions were large and everything tasted great. we also purchased macarons after our meal from the bakery and they were amazing!

Get the egg rolls if you've never had them. They are incredibly good. Not like your standard egg roll full of veggies, this is a huge amount of ground pork. Pictured is the bun noodle salad with egg rolls.

The staff was really friendly and are willing to adjust whatever they can to accommodate for food allergies. The inside was really attractive and the food was served crazy fast! These egg rolls are the real deal and are a feast on their own! They're stuffed to the brim with quality fixings and the dipping sauce is the best I've tasted. I was almost full before my pho arrived! Their pho is also great. Noodles were done just right, broth was savory, and the rib eye was generous and thinly sliced. I'm definitely retuning to try their banh mi!

Its been a while since i last was there till last night. In the early 2k, the food was great, and last night i went there again, perfect place to eat. I personally loved the service, by my waiter. It wasnt busy, but he was perfect timing with asking if i needed anything. He always had my drink filled, (which was only water) but he always was friendly about it. The food was super big portions, and really good. The prices are hard to beat for the amount of food you get. This is a perfect spot in the neighborhood, for this style of resturant. I highly recommend this place.

The food was fantastic as usual! The egg rolls were so hot we had to wait to eat them. We had special fried rice and chicken chow meeting from the lunch menu. The server forgot my pop but brought it at the end and then didn't charge us for it. We both had enough left over to take home for dinner! Service was fast and pleasant. We have been coming here since the mid80's and have never had any issue. They have newly expanded their kitchen to allow for an expanded menu and more seating. I look forward to trying the new menu options!

Been going to Que Viet for the last 25 years and every time I go it's the best. They've done some remodeling and it's become a great atmosphere to dine in. I would recommend their egg rolls (FOR SURE) the lo mein ( any kind..meat or meat less) and the hot and spicy chicken. Authentic great food.

Lobster fried rice was amazing. Also the vermicelli with egg roll is to die for! I can never eat vermicelli with egg rolls anywhere else. Thank you Que Viet!

Last night was my first visit ever. My boyfriend suggested the place. He said the egg rolls are the best and they were amazing! Very good food! Had sweet n sour shrimp, pork fried rice, beef low mein and cream cheese puffs. Everything was great and service was great too!

This place is known for its egg rolls, and for good reason they're amazing. But it's not just egg rolls...all their food is great and their fried rice is the best I've ever had. Highly Recommend!

I'd never been able to arrive during hours of operation until Monday. My favorite Thai (On's Kitchen) and Vietnamese (Kinhdo) restaurants were closed so I decided to give it another try. The decor is tasteful. The service friendly. I instinctively ordered the egg rolls and hot and spicy chicken. Who knew this is what they're known for? It was completely different in appearance and flavor from Kinhdo Restaurant's version, but still delicious. The egg rolls had more pork and less noodles, but were still very good. The dipping sauce is what really seals the deal for me and theirs is very good. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I will definitely return to try other dishes.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Minneapolis. I especially recommend the egg rolls and hot and spicy chicken.

So. Good. I’ve driven by this restaurant hundreds of times and never gone. Boy was I missing out!!!! The decor is fresh and modern, the space is very clean. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The food comes out soooooo fast. Get the egg rolls.

The best egg rolls on earth!! I just went there for the first time last week and already trying to go back!!

Egg Roll Noodle Salad. YUM! I am addicted! I am sure their other food is good too but I always come back to the salad when it comes time to order. Fresh vegetables, noodles and a good portion of their crunchy tasty egg rolls to top it off.
Bernie Schauer
As usual, delicious. Servers Super. Missing my fun lunches , sit at the table by the window and laugh for a half hour straight. Love this place.
