Ginger Hop Restaurant - Minneapolis - Photo album

Cool place, with pretty good food. Mostly sir fry and southern Asian cuisine. Decor is like a colonial British idea of fancy dining in SE Asia. They had a DJ when I was there, which was weird considering the venue. Like I said, cool place just an interesting choice on what they're trying to do.
I visited on a saturday with two other people. The server was a little flustered, and as he under the drinking age he confessed he couldn't make any cocktail recommendations from his own experience. The hostess provided some good recs, though. My companions each had the green curry in coconut milk
This place is delicious. I'm in love with the Penang Curry. Could drink it its rich and creamy...and there is the perfect meat to veggie eatio....their ginger drinks are fun, fresh and vibrant. And the decor here is very elegant, almost like you were in a French cafe.
Lots of vegetarian options. Carmelized cream cheese wontons are amazing. Best fried rice I've had...with curry seasoning. I want to eat here every day!
The food had great flavors unlike i have had before at similar places. Service was on point!
Absolutely best happy hour in Minneapolis. Great deal on food and drinks. One of the few places that has amazing cocktails included in the happy hour. Great burgers and kimchi spring rolls and satay! Come here often! The white cosmo is to die for. Not really but it’s a nice light but not too swee
It was a great experience... I'm not fond of Curry and a lot of their dishes are with Curry. The fried rice was wonderful!
5 stars. Ridiculously delicious dishes. They're all my favorites. Courteous staff and nice ambiance.
Great restaurant! Food was delicious outside seating was clean and well maintained.
This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in the twin cities. The food is always prepared really well with attention down to the last detail. The price to portion size is very good so you really get a great value. They have options for everyone including vegans and have some mind blowingly ama
Second time here (first time for brunch) and it was great! We sat on the bar side and were treated to attentive service, a wide selection of drinks, and food that arrived quick with great presentation. The Bloody Mary was garnished well and reasonably priced. Come here for a solid menu of brunch opt
Best Happy hour, and good qaulity ingredients from wings to Thai fried rice to satay!
We got the booth in the little cut out with the curtains and it was a super cozy feeling. It was really nice to be tucked away from the buzz of the rest of the restaurant. However, being tucked away also meant our service was a little slower because our server couldn't easily see when we were low on
Consistently excellent Asian Fusion cuisine. Terrific appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The grilled salmon on zoodles with sweet green curry is our favorite! Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. Ginger Hop is our regular destination for a great night out. Staff is always cool and
The atmosphere is charming and the prices are reasonable. Perhaps we had a server with an off day, but the food for our table of six came out at relatively the same time, and tasted delicious; the drinks were tasty. Great menu selection with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.
Two of us went to Ginger Hop yesterday for restaurant week. The experience was delightful. We sat outside. The server was very attentive, checking on us frequently, but not too much. The food was delicious. We had the fresh ginger stir fry and the sweet green curry - both were very flavorful. The br
