Review Quang Restaurant - Minneapolis

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I did! The overall experience was amazing. I would highly suggest making a reservation if possible or coming when they first open, because I arrived on a Saturday when the first opened and within an hour they were fully packed with a line. The food was overall really good! I ordered the salmon with rice as well as the fried dumplings and it was very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It was long awaited that I dine here. But after finally accomplishing such I can say that this place is as good as it's cracked up to be. Seating is cafeteria style but server handled things easily. the food comes out fast and was in grand portion. I enjoyed my experience. Reasonably priced, would eat here again.

The price of their food has really gone up since I last visited, I wasn't expecting to pay 7 bucks for 4 piece of cream cheese wonton. The pho still good but the service can be a bit better. We had 2 servers and neither of them came to refill our water and I had to ask for a fork 3 times plus we waited for our to go boxes forever too.

It has been couple years since I had pho at Quang. After leaving Minnesota and moving around, I still found the pho from Minnesota the best. And one of the best pho that I missed the most is at Quang. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and it still is very good, the same taste from my memory.

My favorite pho spot in the Twin Cities! Their broth has so much flavor and always fills the air with a warm sweet smell. Their cream cheese wontons and egg rolls are a great choice for appetizers. End the visit with one of their coffees to go. My friends and I have been coming here for years now and have always found a parking spot in their free lot.

Open tables with many choices, this is located on each street so there are many restaurants around. Parking is tight so be patient. There is a large TO GO section for this restaurant, so it’s extra busy. This is the place that the locals go for perfection. We had chicken and rice.

Quick service. Banh Mi taste good. Beef Pho has decent amount beef slices, but the noodles were not enough to fill me. Glad I also ordered Banh Mi.

Great place for Vietnamese food. Staff were fast and friendly. Checked on our table on a regular basis. Made sure we had everything. Will be back again

Great family restaurant with solid food options. Docked it one star because of the prices for what they are serving. They also never check on you during your meal. You can get Vietnamese food just as good for more aggressive prices in St. Paul but Quang changes extra due to the location and ambiance. Food is always solid here and they have some fun weekend specials as well. If you're looking for an easy no frills place to grab Vietnamese food this place is great. Glad to see a local family business doing this well.

Quang is one of the staples of Minnesota's Vietnamese. They always deliver beautifully crafted foods. They have updated the restaurant since Covid and now it is a beautiful restaurant and clean Service: Always friendly, attentive, willing to explain the dishes and what is inside and they are fast, even when busy. Food: Large portion sizes, everything is fresh, flavorful (on the milder side) and cooked well. My only suggestion is that they add a little more spice to the menu :) We usually order the Pad Thai and Com Ga Xao w/Egg or the Pho Tom or To Pho Kong (made with clear noodles). Can't go wrong with cream cheese wontons either. Parking is free in the lot, although it gets full fast and you may have to park on the street. Family/kid friendly! Definitely recommend!

The waitress was super sweet and the wait for our order was short. We ordered Vietnamese fried chicken, eggrolls, duck, and noodles as well as drinks. Pricing is reasonable and food was delicious.

Update: This Oct 9, 2023 5 star Last year it was a 5 star and once again another 5 star eating experience. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue, tofu spring rolls, banh bao, and crispy sesame ball on this beautiful day. The Bun Bo Hue rice noodle soup is hands down the best. It’s spicy, deep, flavorful and generously proportioned. If you like Pho, this soup takes it to the next level. Their legendary chef, My, has really mastered this amazing soup. Compliments to the chef. The banh bao is also the best in town. I can barely eat an entire one because it’s so big. It’s got a good balance of steamed bread and meat. The egg isn’t ever rubbery. Truly perfect and many times sold out… so get it when you can. I’m a big meat eater but the vegetarian tofu spring rolls are fantastic. I don’t miss the meat in this one. I like how the tofu goes along with all the fresh herbs in the spring roll. The sesame seed crispy balls, bánh cam, is a nice after dinner or lunch dessert. Usually I take it home so I can take my time to savor it. It’s not too sweet and the mung bean center is really traditional Vietnamese. As for service. I was very critical of Quang’s for years for their service. However it’s sort of the norm to get average to poor service at Vietnamese restaurants in my experience. Quang’s has really improved their service and it’s appreciated. Accurate ordering, fast kitchen, always hot, and friendly. Great place for friends, family, and work lunch. Highly recommended. ========================= Last year this review would have been 4 stars for great food at a great value. Quang’s has always been an awesome place to eat but the customer service was always lacking. They amped up their customer service and improved the front lobby area... now it’s a solid 5 star. Will keep coming back and recommending to everyone I know. PS. Tina is an awesome server.

Some best noodle soup we have had. And the price is so good!

First time at this place. Had grilled chicken which came with Jasmin rice and salad mixture plus the fabulous fish sauce. Ample portion so visit on an empty stomach. Excellent chicken (this was the ample portion) and the side dishes were plentiful, too. Service was respectful; the place was moderately busy and still didn't have a long wait for service. I will be eating here again. I finally found a decent restaurant for that occasional treat.

I didn't know what to expect here. I didn't necessarily want Pho, and was pleasantly surprised with the non-soup options on their menu. I got some kind of stir-fry and it was excellent. The spring rolls and egg rolls were amazing!!

So delicious we came here twice within 5 days while visiting Minneapolis! If you're gonna go with a noodle soup, highly recommend the Mi Hoanh (wonton and egg noodle!) I also got the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle) and that was excellent too. A total staple!

Beautiful restaurant, delightful food, great customer service. My family and I had a great experience at ur restaurant. I brought my niece along who is rather picky. The staff was very patient in explaining what was in each dish my niece had a question about. She choose the pork chops over rice which she loved. I had shrimp over rice and the strawberry limeade with a chocolate chip cookie. Great portion size, everything was fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly!
