Victor's 1959 Cafe - Minneapolis - Photo album

Went around noon on Sunday - 2 people, only a 20 min wait. The vibes were great and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. I’m curious to try more of the menu. Will definitely be coming back for more!
It might be no exaggeration to say that Victor's 1959 Cafe is my favorite breakfast / brunch spot in Minnesota. There truly is something for everyone, ranging from the meat lovers to the vegetarians (fewer options for vegans). Their food is delicious. They are affordable. They have decorations and v
We went for brunch on a Sunday, as we were looking for something different than the traditional Eggs Benedict sort of thing. Everything was good. We had about a 15 minute wait for a table, and ended up being seated on the edge of the patio. I got the hot chocolate, which was good, but very thick and
This is my family’s favorite spot in Minneapolis! Every time we’re in the area we make it a point to stop at least once for breakfast, and we order extra for the trip home. There is usually a wait, but we’ve never had to wait longer than 10-15 mins (besides trying to get in right when they open). Th
Customer service was wonderful, the food was filling to the belly and the soul. The atmosphere felt like eating from ur grandparents kitchen. I can still taste the Cuban bread and guava jam! Yum! The coffee gave me the pick me up I needed that day. The waitress was nice and very accommodating to my
Classic. Great little hole in the wall Minneapolis mainstay. Wonderful fast service; tasty simple food. It's a bit pricey for rice, beans, & eggs but whatever - I love it.
I drove all the way from Indiana to try this place. Definitely always trying to find good spots to eat. Let's start off with that the staff was great, super quick, and kind. Now the food, that was cooked to straight perfection!! Like it was definitely cooked with love and mad flavor!!! I got there
The food at Victors was so good. The atmosphere is quirky and welcoming! I especially loved the corn pancake. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. I got the multigrain toast with the basque scrambler and next time I would upgrade to the Cuban toast as I heard it was rea
Amazing Cuban inspired restaurant menu prepared masterfully. A gem!
Definitely worth checking out!!! We loved the food and the atmosphere. Great service too!
Came here for a birthday dinner with my girls and it was good! We sat outside and we had a great time! Service was ok and food was not bad! Was expecting more bold flavors. Better than nothing in Minneapolis
I will go out of my way to visit this place. ***UPDATE*** Jan 28 2022 Dining room open - have your vaccination card and ID ready. Food is still amazing … service is fast and friendly. Warning you may want to take a nap after. All kidding aside make sure you are ok to wait. This place is small but wi
Victor’s is always a hit. I had the wild rice porridge for the first time today and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, highly recommend! Also, make sure to upgrade to the Cuban toast, it’s well worth it.
Victor's is a South Minneapolis neighborhood institution operating for over 20 years. The authentic Cuban food served here is among the best the Twin Cities has to offer and is an excellent brunch spot. There is a nice (but rather small) patio which I would recommend if weather and availability perm
Great staff and a NICE change of pace when looking for authentic CUBAN food to warm YOU up on a cold Minne-SNOW'ta day. The ambience is laid back and the graffiti decor, is sure to inspire the artist in you to leave your mark during you're dining experience; for it to be forever immortalized! I'll d
Superb Cuban sandwiches, they use top quality bread, the pork is tender and full of flavor. Black beans and plantains are the perfect accompaniment. Excellent drinks and service.
