Tim's At Lake Anna

We went in a rainy Saturday morning. It wasn’t crowded. Barely anyone in there. The service was excellent and the food was really good. I had the crab balls and hush puppies. My husband at the oyster poboy. The fries are those crispy fries with the batter on them. I love those! I’m looking forward to going back on a nice day and sitting outside if we can. I assume when the weather is nice they are way busier. They have a sign out front about being short staffed and we were there on a rainy but the service was so good. Prompt, pleasant, and thoughtful. I wish I could remember our servers name.

The food was great!!! The service was great!!! The only bad thing was I live in Mount Pocono Pa and I can’t travel there every day! I was told I was the first to try their Alaskan crab legs in a steam bag ….. and it was awesome!!! I highly recommend this place for food and the sites (great photo opportunities). Great family spot, romantic getaway, or a place to go have a couple of great drinks. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday for a late lunch. From the minute we walked in the door we felt welcomed. Smiles all around. The bartender has the best, most infectious laugh. Our waitperson was great. The food excellent, well prepared and perfectly timed. The whole staff was amazing, very teamlike in responding to various customer service challenges. The dining area was clean and tidy. I hope to return when we return to the area.

Delicious crab dip, this is a must have when visiting Tim’s. Great cocktails and great service. I had the Half Crab and Half Shrimp dinner. Cooked to perfection and quality seafood. They have a special way of preparing the Prime Rib here. Medium Rare will not look pink when it arrives. It is most assuredly tasty but different than Prime Rib at other restaurants I’ve been too. I’ll go back to the Crab Dip. Chunks of crab in a delicious sauce served with Ritz crackers for dipping. It’s fabulous.
