Cowboys Cafe

This place was like visiting the wild West. There were customers in cowboy hats, and all sorts of memorabilia from the old West on the wLls. Guns, spears, photos, ammunition, branding irons. The service was swift and helpful. Food was plenty ... and rather high on calories. I had the chicken froed stake. It was good ... stake and eggs and hash browns were good. The gravy lacked flavor I will have another dish next time, probably an omelette ... Would I come back? Yes :-) PS it is best to visit outside of rush hours ... avoid the waiting in line

Went for breakfast, the coffee cups were dirty. The waitress got our order wrong and tried to blame us for it. She then rushed the cooks for our hash browns and they weren’t cooked enough. The only reason I’m not giving them 1 star is because the omelette was very good and the portion size was plentiful.

Amazing 🤩 Excellent smoked tri tip sandwiches and the best biscuits and gravy. Once again voted the Best Breakfast in Carson Valley and this year Best brunch as well. It is a must stop for travelers and locals insist it is absolutely the favorite place for a relaxing place to meet friends and grab a hearty meal. Closed Monday, they are a local based business but keep a sharp eye as you could pass them up.
