So I had high hopes walking into Tavolino. I follow Milwaukee Foodie on Facebook, and I have become very big into flavors and food over the last year and half, as I dove in deep watching the Food Network all of the time. Finally, I got to try our Ravolino for the first time. While the food was good,
We came here for Valentines Day and the food was absolutely delicious! We got the bruschetta and the lasagna for 2. The service was amazing as well! I just wish we had more room in our stomachs to try a dessert! They did give us a complimentary chocolate covered strawberry to share which was nice 😋
Simple and flavorful pompadour sauce & rigatoni. Several salads from which to choose, which they are happy to serve sans animal products. Nice selection of fancy and refreshing cocktails. Homemade strawberry-raspberry sorbet was just the right amount tart and sweet. Very accommodating for vegans; wo
I was looking for a nice place for a romantic dinner when I came across this gem in a group from Facebook. The owner Peter suggested to come visit and after looking at the reviews and the menu I couldn’t resist. Honestly I am so glad I listened. Beautiful interior and a great vibe whether you are in
It's a nice place to eat. I thought the pasta was average and something that could easily be recreated from home without much effort. Especially for the price and portion size the value just wasn't there. Otherwise good ambiance and a good place for date night.
Very nice Italian restaurant just off North Ave. Food was very good. Had appetizer, a lamb sauce pasta dish and tiramisu. Wife had same but pays marinara with meatballs. Service was excellent. We will return. Cost of a main course was about $20.
Really delicious and well done execution. The spinach dumplings were my favorite part of the meal. Would come back just for appetizers and cocktails
First review of this place so I'll make it good. Overall great place, food, drinks, venue, and staff. Coffee was above average. Good drink selection (no bottomless mimosas). Food didn't take long to cook, granted it was brunch. Poached eggs were perfect, main dish wasn't salted heavily for those wh
Food, atmosphere, drinks, service was all amazing. Will definitely be going back. The short ribs with the mushroom risotto was so flavorful.
Outstanding!
One of the main things I appreciated from here was that they have gluten-free pizza and gluten- free pasta (chickpea).
Service: staff was welcoming, looked for options for my gluten free needs and even accommodated us so we could see the NBA game. They also provided a very accurate rec
I ate more than I wanted to because the food tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. I had mushroom pizza (the mushrooms were fried and covered the entire bread. Usually people put fresh mushrooms which makes a pizza soggy. It wasn't the case here. Little basil leaves made it even more fragrant and d
Fire. Lasagna for two is extremely good and their burrata was amazing. Definitely coming back.
Amazing experience. Great food. Quiet and quaint and just what we needed. Thanks Peter!!
Really enjoyed the experience. Good cocktails and delicious food.
Love this place! Food is always great! I would love if they offered espresso, but that's not gonna keep me from coming back!
Our visit was ok, except for misunderstanding with order - my husband ordered Pesto pasta and wasn’t told it’s vegan option. So he ate cabbage stripes instead of pasta and ended up at my plate.
Overall dishes were good. Far from Italian origin though, but of decent taste.
Hands-down the best Italian food in Milwaukee. Modern and fresh flavors, while still embracing the classics. Elegantly decorated, while still being welcoming and unpretentious. An absolute favorite for date night!
