I love El Rey because they always have fresh produce but recently I've went to El Rey to find expired sour cream. I always get their sour cream but I always check their expiration date and found out that it was already expired. I'm worried that someone might just pick it up and buy it without looking. But other than that El Rey always have the their produce fresh and their store is organized.
El Rey’s is like a little hidden gem. The food is flavorful and decently priced. When you walk in the east side doors and to the right, there are these little cups with cake 🍰 that are delicious. I think they cost about $3, they aren’t too sweet either. Just enough sweetness to quench a sweet tooth craving. The barbecue pork was amazing too and under $10 for almost 3 lbs.
I got tacos at 9am. I am very satisfied with that. The food was good.
El Rey is a good store with good quality products. I really like this store and the spiritual aisle with candles and things you need.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at El Rey! This unique establishment combines the convenience of a grocery store with a delightful shopping experience and a fantastic dining area. The wide variety of products available for purchase ensured that I could find everything I needed, and the dining area was a pleasant surprise, offering delicious food options that made my visit even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my time there. Overall, El Rey gets a solid 5 stars from me for its exceptional combination of grocery shopping and dining in one place. I'll definitely be returning soon!
Always love going to shop at El Rey because I can find anything in the Mexican/Tex Mex isle to buy for my own cooking & keeping my Tex/Mex traditions that I grew up with..
Great place to get Mexican goodies, fresh produce and grab lunch. They have a restaurant and a hot bar deli with delicious food. Vegetarian folks: there are bean-based dish options available. Also available are bean and cheese tamales, and rajas and cheese tamales.
It was so good to come home from San Antonio and visit my favorite grocery store. Always clean and friendly service. Fresh meats and bakery are my favorite!!!
Excellent environment and atmosphere from one of Milwaukee's most underrated and authentic establishments. The restaurant within the store has fantastic options and traditional recipes. One of the only places visited regularly when coming back home. Best deal for fajita meat in produce section by the pound always a favorite while tailgating in parking lot before Brewers game with fresh vegetables and avocados. Homemade salsa, guacamole, bakery items, and hot bar all have fantastic options. Tamales at checkout register are also great when looking for quick and easy meal with reasonable pricing.
Really good authentic Mexican food...Place where you can find hard to get hispanic products in other places. Clean environment 👌
