Review Sprocket Cafe - Milwaukee

Coffee was delicious. Bagels were yummy. Best part was the cream cheese. The donut my husband had was stale so not great for $3 but otherwise good. I was surprised when we got our bagels and the cream cheese came on the side in a little container with a plastic knife and we had to spread ourselves but the garlic herb cream cheese was soooooo good. There was an upcharge for cream cheese with your bagel. An upcharge for flavoring in you latte but all in all the food was good and coffee delicious so worth it. Cute little cafe with quaint atmosphere. Cute old signs and interesting bike license plates.
The Borg Cooking Show
A quaint little coffee shop with rustic bicycle décor. Bookshelves, crates, and tables are lined with books and boardgames for customers to enjoy while having a nice tea or coffee. The London Fog coffee was bitterly delicious, but the sandwiches were a bit lacking. If you're in the mood for a toasted sandwich you could easily make at home, then its worth the $6.50 price tag. If you're wanting a brunch that's worth getting out of the house, then I would not recommend this place. It's a great atmosphere for a pleasant beverage though. 68/100

I love games, and I love history and good coffee. This place has all three in spades. The walls are decorated with old gameboards going back well over 60 years. Assorted pics showing what the area looked like decades ago. Books to borrow, read, and explore. Great bagels and a peppermint mocha that's out of this world. It overlooks a pocket park and is connected to an antique that is eccentric but delights. Small packages often hold the best suprises.

I can’t believe that it took me so long to finally visit Sprocket. It’s such a lovely and kitschy place and everything about it makes me happy. Juliet was wonderful and made me a mocha with Mexican chocolate in it (or something like that - I can’t remember but it was delicious). I of course also had to get the cake and a bagel sandwich. My only disappointment was that I didn’t get to use one of the vintage Corelle dishes that I’ve seen photos of on their Instagram, but I think that was because I ordered too large of a coffee 🤗☕️ It was so lovely and I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in beautiful Milwaukee.
Decorah Farmers Market
Cozy little local joint! I stopped in to get some remote work done while traveling and got myself caffeinated and fueled for the day. Friday is "cake day" where they have slices available from a local baker (banana Nuttella - delish). I had a simple bagel sandwich for lunch and was grateful that there was a vegetarian option. The menu was small but balanced and the atmostphere was eclectic and comfortable. Staff were super accomodating as well. I'd def go back again!

Stopped in for a quick lunch to-go. The cold brew was excellent - frozen coffee ice cubes are a clever touch. The Trike sandwich was legitimately one of the best sandwiches I've had in months. Really neat atmosphere and friendly staff, too. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Great place to hang out, awesome sandwiches, bagels, coffee, cakes, donuts, and antiques. Nicest staff, Juliette, the owner, is just incredible. The prices are more than reasonable, Products are locally sourced. Perfect!

A pop up gem where you least expect it! Friendly staff. The unique decor makes it feel like home. Great place to meet friends, read a book or study. Fresh bagels (local) and tasty mochas.

Best bagel sandwiches in town. This is a great small little cafe, extremely cozy feeling when walking in.

This is one of my favorite places in bayview! I love the iced coffee with the coffee ice cubes included! The sandwiches are good too and the prices affordable. Staff is friendly and the shop is cute and quaint!

The egg bagel sandwich is so good! If you like hard boiled eggs or egg salad give it a shot. I like to add cucumber. Love that they have London Fog on the drink menu, too.

I stopped in here on a whim when I was on my way to a Starbucks down the street after exploring Bay Veiw. The signage was too cool and drew me in. Boy was I glad I went here and not there. When I entered the antique store just to look around next door I was greeted by a helpful and knowledgeable young man at the front desk. I made a purchase I wasn't expecting as the shop just had such great finds at awesome prices. Then I decided to stay a while in the cafe, and enjoyed some hot chocolate as the rain came down. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service. The cafe is comfortable, clean, and homey feeling. I'll be coming here to work in the lobby on my art tablet during my days in Milwaukee from now on as a return customer.

Great little coffee shop to sit/relax and get some work done if needed.

Cute place. (Bicycle/vintage themed coffee) They serve Anodyne Coffee, espresso drinks, sandwiches, bagels, donuts. Only open until 3pm. Faces east-ish so good morning sunlight. Quiet, calm environment, good for remote work or study sessions. Shop small!

This is one of my favourite cafes in Milwaukee. It's cozy, eclectic, and the service is unparalleled. I haven't been here in months and they remembered I talk almond milk with my lattes!

A hidden gem with a really cool atmosphere because you are surrounded by antiques. I have enjoyed a mocha on the sidewalk patio and just people watched. Great cup of coffee, latte, mocha, espresso, etc...

So happy to have discovered this place; I have been a fan of the antiques shop next door for awhile, and the fun aesthetic found there carries over into the decorum of the cafe. The place has a local-proud feel and is bright and welcoming and airy. It's one of the few cafes that actually has a comfy couch to sit on, along with regular (happily mismatched) chairs and tables, and I was greeted by very welcoming staff. I just ducked in for a quick to-go coffee, but I will definitely stop back soon to relax and enjoy some food!

Sprocket Cafe has made themselves stand out from the crowd by having gelato on their menu. Try the affogato! A small scoop of gelato covered by a shot of hot espresso. Delicious! Support this new up and coming, locally owned business. A great atmosphere to sip a mug of coffee and read a book or get some work done.

Iced tea and a tasty roast beef sandwich were both awesome and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. Definitely one of my favorite spots to grab a lunch :)

Our family had a great time here celebrating my husband's "landmark" birthday. We rented the cafe for 2 hours for a very reasonable rate, and barista Max was kept busy with our drink orders. A splendid time was had by all!

Finally got to stop here. Super cute and cozy. Friendly staff. I loved the coffee ice cubes in the iced coffee, doesn’t water it down. The bagel I had was super fresh. I’ll be back.

Spent some time there this morning and loved it. Great coffee, amazing staff (seriously, John is a great barista!) , super duper adorable setting. Check out the store next door as well! :)

Love having Anodyne coffee close to where I live! Plus the place is super cute.

Great place to relax with a delicious cup of coffee, that doesn't break the bank. Friendly service. Had a cafe mocha (lg) for less than $4 bucks. They also added books and games!

I never realize how important a bagel sandwich and a solid sitting stoop can be.
Mary Klamecki-Ziebart
The atmosphere was great! It was quiet and the music wasn't too loud. I hated the coffee though, I ordered a salted caramel mocha and didn't really like it :(
Carol Karczewski
Nice addition to the antique store, you can have coffee & pastry before or after a browse; keeping the theme of the antique store in the coffee shop was a nice touch. The GSB blend is my favorite but the salted caramel was pretty tasty too!! Stop in and enjoy.

The coffee was wonderful and the owners were fun! Great little 'Local' place for coffee and conversation. Shhhh - don't tell anyone-it's our secret place...LOL!
Barbara Bielecki
Salted caramel latte was awesome! Great place to stop in for a coffee. Nice friendly staff!

Great little place to stop for a cup of coffee. Had the Peppermint mocha and it was very tasty. Planning on buying their blend next time.

Best chai latte I've ever had. Atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Great place to stop for a quick take out coffee or to hang out and talk.
