Such a lovely place! The ladies who greeted me were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and calm. Unlike the normal hustle and bustle of your usually cafe. The music was just as relaxed as well. I’d say a great place to study. I had a iced mocha latte (which is my go to) and the quiche. Both were delicious and nothing like I’ve had before. They have many great options though so I’ll have to come back soon! I would suggest this place to anyone and everyone but I almost hate to spoil the tranquility. Only down side I would say is the parking situation. Although I found a parking spot fairly quickly (free 2 hour parking on Saturday) I imagine it might not always be so. DEFINITELY WORTH IT though!

First time here and loved it. Went on a weekday around noon, wasn’t busy so was able to find a spot to sit. The place had a nice chill atmosphere and it’s nice to know that even though you have to walk up stairs to get inside they do have an elevator around back for handicap people. While there I got an everything bagel and ice vanilla latte. The bagel was toasted perfectly and the latte was made good. Took home a tiramisu cake and it did not disappoint, tasted really good, tasted the coffee flavor but it wasn’t overpowering the actual cake.

This is a rather stylish coffee shop, but didn't seem pretentious at all. I was mainly interested in grabbing a sandwich and some chips to go, so I could eat them at the park just down the street. It seemed very reasonable, and the service was very quick. I'd go back any day and enjoy some coffee on site.

I visited Bella Caffe for the first time today. I had the Vegan Tomato Fennel with Portobello soup, and my fiance had the Yellow Split Pea & Smoked Turkey soup. They were hearty and absolutely delicious! The coffee was very tasty, as well. Wonderful and friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

I love Bella. I stop here 3/4 times a week for my morning coffee and occasionally for soups/lunch. Not only are the prices cheap/reasonable, the staff is always so nice and accommodating. Really brightens my day stopping here first thing in the morning - appreciate you guys!

In town for a wedding and needed a place to grab coffee within walking distance of our AirBnB. The barista talked me in to their pumpkin latte which isn't saccharine syrupy, but rather pumpkin flavor sweetened with vanilla. It was delicious and the perfect accompaniment to a rainy September Saturday. If you go, I definitely recommend it!

I've been here many, many times. This review is well over due and well deserved. The staff have always been very personalble. The food tasty and fresh and the espresso is top notch!

I have visited this quaint, Milwaukee Historic Third Ward food boutique for 17 years. I have always enjoyed the staff and the very, very comfortable ambiance of this establishment.
The many variety of daily homeade soups are worth the time to experience. No matter which one that you order, it will warm you in the coldest of days.
There is a huge selection of coffees, quiches, and bakery for your selection. Everything is fresh and if you desire, you can bring your computer and just sit and relax while you enjoy your fare. Our if you wish, there is always a complimentary Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel for you to read and a glass decanter of ice water to drink if you don't want other refreshments.
The Bella Cafe fits right in with the trendy Historical Third ward.
To my experience, there are two things that they could improve. If you go around 8:00, this is a prime time for patron to congregate at this jewel of coffee shop. My bone is that at this time on numerous occasions I have been stuck in line behind the person ahead of me who with my luck orders a coffee Lattee. The staff seems to be only be able to do one task at a time. I have walked out on several occasion because I just didn't want to wait and watch this process. I will admit that I am not the most patient individual so you may take this comment in that light.
The other irk of mine is that if you wish to pay with a credit card you will have the check out screen turned toward you with an area for a "tip" as a line item. Now I habitually tip very generously. I use to work in the food industry, so if I get good service, that service is very much compensated. But I always feel that this process is not necessary and kind of "in your face" intimidating. In addition they do have a large coffee cup there to place a tip.
In summary, this is a wonderful and comfortable place that serves quality food and you should really stop in to enjoy the old fashion, quaint ambiance of this homey establishment. It is just nice to see a place that doesn't need to change and you can always count on it's excellence.
PS. Just a footnote. I dined this afternoon and I was impressed by one of the staff members disinfecting table tops. Not just wiping them off! If you have caught the bug that has been rampaging around this city one appreciates this effort!

Great service. Had a triple cheese grilled cheese with a delightful curried potato soup, both on point. Would love to come back for their coffee from Valentine’s roasters.

Cute little coffee spot with Soup-Kitchen soups, sandwiches, and awesome cookies. Recently they started stocking door county Kombucha - Winning! The staff is down-to-earth, silly and friendly.

The atmosphere here is a bit more "relaxed" than other coffee shops. The coffee and prices are good. A great place to get a coffee or sandwich and work for a few hours.
