This is kind of your typical Milwaukee bar. We really enjoyed the option of indoor or outdoor seating and opted for an outdoor table with the nice weather. Drinks were really fairly priced, and all of the staff we interacted with were great. We were there late enough to enjoy a beer brat before heading out. The bathroom was OK but could have used a cleaning and air freshener. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Underrated bar in MKE! Great food and drinks for a very fair price compared to other bars in the area. Gracious amount of food and good drink sizes. Highly recommend the fish fry and the Grumpy Burger. Bartender was super friendly and added to the already welcoming atmosphere. Patio is super dog friendly, which is always a huge plus for all you dog parents out there!

Food has huge portions and it is good. The prices are not bad and the service is very friendly. A little loud. Good tables outside to enjoy the outdoor too. The shared shots with us. Good options for burgers and sanduches with a lot of fries.

Good food. Deluxe Charlie burger and club were on point. Awesome music playing. Cool Halloween decorations. Bloody Mary also very good although it is not on the menu.

As soon as we came in the bartender was very welcoming. Served us quickly and was very attentive. The food was great. I recommend the wings and cheese curds! Will be back! Spotted cow was a bonus!

The kitchen employs a virtuoso on the deep fryer. The cocktails are solid. The decorations, especially around Halloween, are amazing. I've always had fast and friendly service. I recommend the fish fry, fried shrimp, and cheese curds.

Stopped in after a metal show the night before, against my will. It turned out to be the most excellent decision. The bartender (not wearing a guns n roses shirt that day) was outstanding. She was beyond welcoming to our shenanigans. 10/10 pop in if you're in the neighborhood. Burger, top notch. Tuna melt, mind blowingly delish.

The vibe of this place is awesome. We ate outside and the street wasn’t too busy, and the food was amazing. One of the cheaper places in town and easily some of the best food. 5 family members all said it was the best food for the price. Would go back again any day for lunch or dinner.

Enjoyed fries and a beer with entrepreneurs after an event downtown. Classy tall chairs and tables. Well worth the visit.

Great neighborhood pub where the patrons all seemed on a first name basis but in true midwestern fashion that didnt make us feel like outsiders as we were included in the fun. Good specials on drinks and solid food options (2 for 1 bloody's on Saturday) Thanks Charlie's!

I love Charlie’s Sunday Funday with Karen Valentine.
We had a ball however the bartender was not doing her job.
She spent a great deal of time chatting with two handsome gentleman at one end of the bar and ignored the rest of us.
She took forever to take our orders, give us the check and then to return my credit card.
Even after I was waving my hands in the air and other patrons motioned her to turn around and look at me.
Other then that it was a great time!

I love this little spot. The place was packed to the gills and understaffed for the crowd, but they made it all happen. Great dinner and out in plenty of time to get to the theatre.
