Review Fuel Cafe 5th St. - Milwaukee

Excellent brunch. Love the coffee! We even bought the mug because it was so cute. The restaurant was very clean and the space was nice and open. There's also a patio option to sit outside, as well as an upstairs. The motorcycle decor is very well thought out. We always see something new that we hadn't noticed before. Our servers are always kind quick.

First time here came on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious I had the breakfast burrito and my daughter had the beef quesadilla which was also amazing! We each enjoyed a Paloma which I highly recommend you try. The people next to me had the French toast and that looked yummy. Our server was friendly and made recommendations for the breakfast burrito. The environment is super dope with a mixture of customers which makes everyone feel welcomed. Decor is also super cool and interesting with an industrial type vibe. I Love the circular bar and the booths looked intimate with small lights in them. Definitely my new favorite brunch spot and should be yours as well!!

Really cool looking place with a motorcycle theme. Heard about it for years but never made it. New location on the south side really nicely done. Bartenders are pretty cool they were very chill more bored than anything else given when I showed up. Indoor seating outdoor seating all sorts of ways to get situated if you wanted to have dinner or just a drink. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The food here is always great. Last time I went was on Labor Day and they were crazy busy and understaffed but they were still friendly. This recent time I went was more chill. Always a great experience but this time, the dish I got was life changing. I have been thinking about it for days. The Hot Chicken French Toast Benedict. Oh my gosh. I don’t think I can eat any other breakfast item again. This was so good. Highly recommend.

Patio is very nice and cozy, even with their biker/edgy theme. Great service and the food is fantastic. Cocktails were great. Bloody Mary was towards the top of our WI list.

Great place in Walker's Point neighborhood. Really unique and wonderful options for food. The Hot Chicken French Toast Benedict sounds a bit weird but trust me, you'll want to try it. It was hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also got their Banana Milk Coffee which, again, sounds a bit weird - a whole banana, I think some milk and then some coffee blended together - but, it works. It works really well. Definitely worth a shot and you can easily spend the better part of a whole day in the neighborhood so you won't regret heading this way.

A good place for good food, Ambiance was also good. Multiple taps of beer, the eagle park is one of the local brewed beers and is a must try. Service was really good. 👌

Extensive brunch menu. Something for everyone and SO hard to pick what to get. Meal portions are quite large and prices are beyond reasonable for what you get. Fuel is a big space, so often pretty easy to seat a group especially if you have 4 people or less. Pictured are the biscuits and gravy, vegan dream hash, and veggie Benedict. All are highly recommended. Staff was super attentive. Meals came out a bit cold, but it was also a busy Sunday and they were still delicious. All around amazing environment and beyond worth the stop if you’ve never been here!

Awesome spot for brunch. They had an ice sculpture of their motorcycle logo. Inside had chill music and cool decor. The food was delicious too. Portion size was huge. Unlimited refills on coffee! Great location near downtown.

Atmosphere is very laid back, and the food is worth going for! I got the hot chicken and french toast with a side of breakfast potatoes, which was all very delightful, especially the potatoes. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items, which all also look amazing!

Talk about recharging and refueling! Devoured the “fuel bowl” and “French toast” was perfect for after. Definitely worth the stop and got to see friends post on the wall 🙌

We stayed just down the street from Fuel during a recent motorcycle trip to Milwaukee and went there for breakfast and dinner in one day, then breakfast again the following morning. Fuel will be on our agenda for every trip up to town for sure. The food is amazing, atmosphere is motorcycle friendly, and staff was super nice. Shoutout to Taz behind the bar!

Cool spot with great service! The biscuits and gravy was incredible! The dream bowl is an amazing vegan option! Must do stop in Milwaukee!

A trifecta of quality: fun, eclectic biker atmosphere, high quality, delicious food, and excellent service. Highly recommend if you're in the area, for any meal. Ask for Melannie, one of the best servers we've had in ages! Great job guys

Fuel Cafe was an amazing experience, food was very flavorful and the workers are awesome. The customer service is what did it for me, our waitress Alix was absolutely amazing and kept my wife and I smiling. Highly recommend Fuel Cafe to family and friends!

The Fuel Cafe. If ever in Milwaukee, try this cafe. It is a must! From the moment we walked in, the people were super friendly. We sat at the bar. The bartender, Chad, greeted us and took our drink order. They have a menu full of great dishes. I had the “garbage pile” and my wife had a vegan dish. I can’t say enough of great things about this experience. I just want to say thank you Chad and everyone else who made this such an amazing time!

Fuel went from craveable to just good faster than any restaurant in recent memory. The menu has changed frequently since Fuel first opened in Walker’s Point. First the homemade gluten free rolls disappeared which were spectacular. Then the steak sandwich with pesto was replaced with a far more pedestrian version. Now the trout deviled eggs are gone along with the shrimp salad, trout salad, charcuterie board and more. What’s left on the menu is rather uninspired and similar to what you get anywhere else. And that’s really too bad because it has so much potential.

It's a motorcyclist paradise. Does not matter what you ride. All are welcome. I highly recommend it. If you're going just to rate the food..go somewhere else..

Super cool location, staff, and the food was delish. They even had my favorite Michigan beer on tap! And plenty of motorcycle related stuff which is rad

Had breakfast there during the Mama Tried weekend. First time there but this will be a required stop every time I'm in Milwaukee in the future. Amazing environment and very good service. The Chicken and French Toast was straight up amazing. And some of the best cold brew coffee I've ever had. I wish we had an identical place like this in Des Moines. Big, big fan!

Randomly stopped there for food last night. Not a guy who usually goes to Milwaukee, but it was my bachelor party so we had some fun. We all sat at the bar, and the bartender handled it like it was piece of cake. Had good suggestions on appetizers (steak fries were amazing) and pointed me to the perfect steak sandwich. He definitely made our night!

I stop here everyday of my life because the food is great and the GM guy is a truly dreamy, classically handsome drink of very cool water. Also I work here. Also I might be the GM.

I was disappointed with Fuel Cafe. I will not go back. The customer service was poor. Our server Michael was clueless and not very attentative. The menu needs improvement. My burger was over done and not very good. Hopefully they make improvements.

The weather was perfect to have breakfast on the patio. The food was very delicious. We will return for another visit soon!

Fuel Cafe was awsome. They have a great selection of beer and many vegetarian/vegan options. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Next time I’m in MKE I’ll definitely be back.

Have you been to the original shop and liked it? Okay, multiply by ten. That's it! Ten times cool. Ten times the fun. Fun, funky, moto scene. No sneers, no posing, motorcycle racing on the sets, great food/bar/coffee spaces. And more rough wood/rust and less chrome. Curious? Go down and see for yourself.

Great menu, cool atmosphere! Loads of delicious, fresh and healthy choices. A large number of vegan and gluten free options.
Mandy Melka
I’ve visited twice and had a positive experience both times! The place is large, clean, well-staffed. The food is very good and the staff are friendly! The Irish coffee is a must!

Where culture, tradition, and ambience come together for a good time! Honest and friendly staff, great coffee and tasty food for meat eaters and Vegans alike.
Cassy Zeimantz
Amazing food! Their mac and cheese was like non I’ve had before and the jalapeño cheddar biscuit was soft and flavorful. They serve Stone Creek coffee as well which just adds to the meal! There wasn’t a wait before hand either.
Ryan Koski
$11 for a standard burger, an extra $1 for cheese, an extra $1 if you want fries instead of a salad, and an extra $0.50 if you ask for anything on the side. By the time the food came the cheese was already starting to crust onto my burger.
Arlene Bjugstad
Used to like this place. Now they refuse to serve you at tables if getting drinks and can’t get a drink at the under staffed bar..better off going down the street.
Aisha Chinn
2nd time visiting and the food did not disappoint! Taste fantastic and great portions. Con - It took about 45 minutes for the food to come.
