It was delicious 🤤, and for drinks we order cola
Good but not great. I've only visited this restaurant once but would definitely go back. The atmosphere feels a bit dated and monotone despite the recent update, but the wait staff was excellent.
The steaks, as you would expect, were delicious although I feel they were a tad overpriced. I chose mine served with the Bearnaise sauce and it was truly excellent, however the real surprise of the meal were the mashed potatoes. Bar none the best mashed/whipped potatoes I have ever had.
When it came time for dessert we ordered what was available and I must say it was not a good way to end a meal. Of the four desserts on the tasting plate not one was worth taking more than one bite of.
If you are looking for a fun night out and a bit of gambling, then this is the place for you.
Great Restaurant, Retail WIne List. This restaurant really is creative and moves away from the stuffy boring fine dining restaurants that Milwaukee is know for. When I walked into the new location ( My girlfriend took me last week for my birthday) I realized I was in for a great realaxing evening. The menu as the server explained was a take on Wisconsin and its great cuisine. Cannibal sandwhich and lobsterwurst were the 2 app we tried and we could not have been happier. The entree we did was Kanagaroo (I know was a bit suprised myself) but was so tender and full of flavor. My girlfriend had the scallops cordon blue, and I am not for sure what the other review was talking about but there was nothing 'over' salty about this dish. While the food is the reason you go to a restaurant, you cant beat the retail priced wine list. Our first server explained how it was a concept that a previous manager brought to the restaurant, and checking on my phone while looking at the prices it is very right on the retail lines. They also have a champagne cart that they start you with (We choose to have it with dessert) This is dining with 2 servers, both happened to keep it fun and moving and unlike other fine dining places made us feel very comfortable. Trust me you will love it.
Recently remodeled, Dream Dance is a beautiful space, perfect for date night. The interior is dimly lit with a warm, intimate, and upscale feel. The food overall was good. However, there were some notable points. The west coast oysters were quite small (understanding that they usually are compared to east coast), the salmon lacked seasoning (though prepared well) and the dirty martini my husband ordered wasn't very dirty and the olives literally had no flavor. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was sweet and understanding of the concerns we raised. The recommended crème brûlée and chocolate cake were absolutely amazing, with the crème brûlée presentation being unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Definitely worth a taste and shareable.
Had the shrimp linguine and it was good but it was kinda salty. Shrimp wasn’t too seasoned. Bread they bring out was pretty good on top with the butter. Also had the dream dance nectar cocktail and personally I didn’t like it much but it was a pineapple infused grey goose cocktail.
I actually enjoyed myself. I had read terrible reviews prior to going but everything was the complete opposite. My friends had steak and said it was really good. I had the chicken leg quarter and it wasn't done to my liking initially but I had them chill it a few more minutes and it was fine. I did feel it was a bit small but it tasted good . I also had purple potatoes and asparagus which was good. The margaritas were on point BUT not worth $16 each lol. Overall it was a good experience. Our wait staff was very friendly and attentative.
Not sure what some of the complaints were about. BUT me and my husband enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. I apologize no pics but I was too hungry to think about taking them. We had the Ribeye and Flatiron steak which melted in your mouth and were bursting with flavor. The Broccoli Augratin is on point for cheese lovers. I still can not find a pizza oozing with cheese like these. Drinks were stiff!! Wait staff was very professional and full of recommendations. We will be back :)
Incredible food, impeccable service. Sharon was very knowledgeable and friendly. The general manager and som, Rohit, had fantastic wine recommendations and clearly cared about the customer experience - we will be back!
The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is to die for (literally) to the point where you want a 2nd serving but know you can't fit it in your stomach, the atmosphere is fancy but not intimidating, and prices are pretty good for being so high end. 10 stars out of 5 for sure!
Fantastic experience dining at Dream Dance with a large party. Big time thanks to Seth and his staff for being so accommodating and hospitable. Atmosphere couldn't be better and the food was very good.
I always sit at the bar since im usually by myself and the bartender Evan is always amazing with great service!
Outstanding Steak Dinner
We had a great dining experience last evening at the Dream Dance Steakhouse. Starting with cocktails, we thought they were priced as high as you would find in New York City or Las Vegas. Not used to that in Milwaukee. For an appetizer we shared the shrimp cocktail and a bowl of French Onion soup. Five shrimp for $12 is on the stiff side, but the shrimp were good sized. The French Onion soup was a blend of five types of onions and was on the sweet side, but enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was sharing a huge Porterhouse steak. It was grilled to perfection at Medium and has a charred and crispy texture, but when you cut it, the true flavors really came out. We've been to top-shelf steakhouses all over the country and proclaimed this to be one of the best we have had. The atmosphere in the room was on the dark side and much smaller than we anticipated. I would call it intimate, except that the clientele took the edge off the fine dining experience. Most of the gentlemen had backwards baseball hats on throughout dinner and logo T-shirts. Where can you go anymore where people show some class? Our waitress, Emily, was personable, efficient, well-trained in fine dining service. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and will return soon.
Absolutely one of the greatest bone-in ribeyes I have ever eaten. Service and staff were on point and we will go back again and again.
Great job.
