I was visiting Milwaukee with my SO and we love exploring news restaurants. Big foodies. She scoped out Apollo. As someone who typically only eats gyros when visiting a Greek restaurant, I decided to branch out here and was not disappointed. I ordered the spanakopita with potatoes. The spinach was nice and chewy. The potatoes were tender and well-seasoned. It slaps! Highly recommend this place. You may have to wait a little longer than some other places, but I’m pretty sure that’s because they are making most of these dishes fresh. Delicious!

We did go back a couple days later, got the same thing, but the Spinach pie was somewhat burnt on the bottom of the pie & a little tough. Hopefully, that was something that doesn't happen much. First time getting food there. Had the Spinach pie & Spinach/tomato/onion/green pepper rice. SOOOOOOO delicious and filling. Loved it!

Was in the mood for gyros so I decided upon Apollo from the + reviews. I ordered thru DoorDash for pick up. I ordered the gyro platter with fries and an additional gyro for my gf. Food was ready within 15 minutes.
Food was delicious although the pita was a tad stale. Fries were crispy with a light coating of batter. The meat is thicker than other places I’ve tried but very generous with portions. Would definitely return when in MKE.

This is hands down the best gyro place in town. The menu alone is like fine dining for Mediterranean food. Lamb Shank etc on the menu. Encourage you to try it!

Apollo is the best. I always order the chicken souvlaki and it is so good every time. I have been going here for 10 years and have been happy with every meal!!

The food here was great!!! We were traveling through and wanted a Gyro. Great place to stop. Make sure you have cash, though. They don't take cards. They do have an ATM on site.
