Food was amazing, you can really taste that it is good quality. Pretty expensive. I got an egg white veggie omelet and it was delicious, the toast and English Muffins were bad though. The service was pretty good, she didn't come around often and looked at us funny for wanting paper menus. The hosts, I assume the owners, didn't seem like they wanted to be there 😭.

The food & presentation was amazing!! Love the look and feel of this place! Unfortunately, I felt the service could have been a little better. I sat at the bar because I was eating alone and getting some work done - was craving some good breakfast - but I had gotten the sausage gravy and was not a fan at all of it. I asked the server if it was the correct kind because he mentioned there was two kinds- and he said it was correct. I told him I didn't like it (in a nice way) and I felt like he didn't care. I paid $4 for a cup of gravy that I only had a small bite of. I used to work in the restaurant industry, and he didn't even say sorry or anything. Just asked for me to pay.. and then walked away. Anyways, I still tipped well because I know how it is - just wish the service was better for me. Love the crepes, drinks, and biscuits, though!

This place was worth the wait, we were told 20-30 minute wait but it didn’t really take that long. We had a party of 6, the waiter explained the menu nice and clear to understand. The menu is an awesome pick of food and made just right for the most part. I do wish for the future they serve beef bacon, beef sausage and grits. Our drinks and food took no time; food was hot and presented nicely. The atmosphere was just right, not too loud, not too quiet, smell of fresh food, food prepared to where you can see what’s happening depending where you stand or sit, clean tables, clean condiments, clean silverware, clean cups and very clean bathrooms. I personally had a Bloody Mary, chicken and waffles, breakfast potatoes, three scrambled eggs with cheese and an order of corn beef meat which I placed on my eggs😋. I had to order another side of potatoes for home they were so good and not dried out, I rarely finish breakfast potatoes anywhere. My family enjoyed our time there and kept in mind people are waiting lets get up to share the experience. We thank you guys for an unique experience.

Food was delicious, albeit a tad overpriced. Service was great. I thought the atmosphere lacked character, but if that beige-minimal-modern look is your thing you'd love it.

Parking is a little tight but there's a parking lot and free street parking cause it's Sunday. I walked in and told the host 1 please and I was directed to go sit at the bar counter. I was not greeted by anyone & 3 people were just standing around talking behind the bar. Finally I was asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for a menu. I was given a drink menu. I asked for food and I was told to go to the host and let her know I wanted to eat. But this is where she told me to sit. I received a food menu and I ordered my berries for breakfast drink & meat lovers bowl. The bartender came back and asked me if I was OK. Great job! The drink was very tasty & the food was a bit salty but it was good. One thing that bothers me is when the kitchen serves food in a bowl or plate that's chipped or cracked. The food was a healthy portion and I took it Togo!

The service was amazing, everyone was very kind! It was a busy Sunday & we were seated fairly quickly to not have a reservation. The food was good, and the drinks were as well. Amazing decor and atmosphere.

We loved our food here and the atmosphere! I was really impressed with our waitress who asked if I wanted my bacon crispy or regular and some other questions to make sure we got our breakfast exactly how we wanted! I got the berry blast pancakes and bacon. I wish I had been a little more adventurous but the food was still great! Definitely worth eating here!! Everything looked great!

On our last day in Milwaukee, we walked down to Third Ward for brunch before hitting the airport. The place was packed by 10am so we all opted to sit at the counter to get in and out. Sitting at the counter always provides great insight into how a place is run. This is especially true on a late Sunday morning when. The machine never stops spitting out tickets, the line is slammed and runners are hustling to get things to table as quickly as possible. From our vantage point, the Benedict’s were the most popular items hitting the large serving trays. I was over a weekend of savory food so I opted for the Crème Brûlée French Toast. The sugar coating added a nice crisp layer to it even after adding copious amounts of maple syrup. The accompanying fruit was fresh, the coffee flowed freely and the server was quick and efficient. All in all, a great experience. We’ll be back to try the savory side of the menu.

We stumbled on Sweet Diner while downtown one morning and based on location and outside appearance I was expecting overpriced food that wasn’t going to hit the mark. Boy was I wrong! Sweet Diner has the most amazing comforting atmosphere that is welcoming and draws you from the sweet smells on fresh juices to the amazing coffee bar near the front door. The service is amazing. Very nice and friendly. As it was our first time we always ask what the waitress recommended and she gave a few options that were great suggestions because it gave a variety of options depending on dietary restrictions. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a great meal and a central location to enjoy a nice walk after you eat definitely check out Sweet Diner.
