Review Divino Wine And Dine - Milwaukee

Katie Milosevich
So I had high hopes walking into Tavolino. I follow Milwaukee Foodie on Facebook, and I have become very big into flavors and food over the last year and half, as I dove in deep watching the Food Network all of the time. Finally, I got to try our Ravolino for the first time. While the food was good, I think that everything was one ingredient shy of being excellent. I ate a new pasta special, the Verdura and while it was good, it could have used an acid to tie everything together. The same goes for the burrita, one ingredient shy of being amazing. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I would try something else. A gentlemen whom I'm assuming was the general manager or the shift lead was very attentive to what was going on and making sure all of the customers were satisfied. It definitely stood out to me he was really trying to make sure everyone had a great experience. The server was extremely nice and friendly, and the food came out very quickly. All around a good experience, but I'm giving it 4 stars for being one ingredient or one step shy of being that 5th star.

We came here for Valentines Day and the food was absolutely delicious! We got the bruschetta and the lasagna for 2. The service was amazing as well! I just wish we had more room in our stomachs to try a dessert! They did give us a complimentary chocolate covered strawberry to share which was nice 😋

Simple and flavorful pompadour sauce & rigatoni. Several salads from which to choose, which they are happy to serve sans animal products. Nice selection of fancy and refreshing cocktails. Homemade strawberry-raspberry sorbet was just the right amount tart and sweet. Very accommodating for vegans; would love the chef to offer vegan dishes on the menu. Friendly servers, nice atmosphere!

I was looking for a nice place for a romantic dinner when I came across this gem in a group from Facebook. The owner Peter suggested to come visit and after looking at the reviews and the menu I couldn’t resist. Honestly I am so glad I listened. Beautiful interior and a great vibe whether you are inside the dining room, sitting at the bar, or outside on the patio. Peter and his staff are wonderful and were all very friendly and helpful. The cocktails and wine/beer list have a large selection that will accommodate any taste pallet. We ordered the Marsala and Ragú Bolognese and were very pleased with our meals. I was very pleased with my first experience here and will definitely be back for more. If you are looking for a nice evening out with friends/family, cocktails after work, or just a lovely evening out with your special someone I would highly recommend giving Tavolino a try!

It's a nice place to eat. I thought the pasta was average and something that could easily be recreated from home without much effort. Especially for the price and portion size the value just wasn't there. Otherwise good ambiance and a good place for date night.

Very nice Italian restaurant just off North Ave. Food was very good. Had appetizer, a lamb sauce pasta dish and tiramisu. Wife had same but pays marinara with meatballs. Service was excellent. We will return. Cost of a main course was about $20.

Really delicious and well done execution. The spinach dumplings were my favorite part of the meal. Would come back just for appetizers and cocktails

First review of this place so I'll make it good. Overall great place, food, drinks, venue, and staff. Coffee was above average. Good drink selection (no bottomless mimosas). Food didn't take long to cook, granted it was brunch. Poached eggs were perfect, main dish wasn't salted heavily for those who care. Both kinds of potato were excellent. Couldn't finish the truffle fries because the main dish was perfectly sized. Venue has plenty of space for those concerned about spacing between tables. I got the benedict di Maiale which was great, a little much tomato for me but I'm not a huge tomato guy in general. 9/10

Food, atmosphere, drinks, service was all amazing. Will definitely be going back. The short ribs with the mushroom risotto was so flavorful.

Outstanding! One of the main things I appreciated from here was that they have gluten-free pizza and gluten- free pasta (chickpea). Service: staff was welcoming, looked for options for my gluten free needs and even accommodated us so we could see the NBA game. They also provided a very accurate recommendation of wine pairing with our food. 5/5 Ambience/ decor: it is an elegant casual place with great aesthetic. Good quality decor inside and out. 5/5 they also have outdoor sitting available. Parking is in street(as far as I know) but there was plenty availability in a Saturday night. Prices: reasonable prices and good portions.

I ate more than I wanted to because the food tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. I had mushroom pizza (the mushrooms were fried and covered the entire bread. Usually people put fresh mushrooms which makes a pizza soggy. It wasn't the case here. Little basil leaves made it even more fragrant and delicious). I also tried the Cacio e Pepe which was also delicious.

Fire. Lasagna for two is extremely good and their burrata was amazing. Definitely coming back.

Love this place! Food is always great! I would love if they offered espresso, but that's not gonna keep me from coming back!

Our visit was ok, except for misunderstanding with order - my husband ordered Pesto pasta and wasn’t told it’s vegan option. So he ate cabbage stripes instead of pasta and ended up at my plate. Overall dishes were good. Far from Italian origin though, but of decent taste.
