I love Botanas! The atmosphere is so much fun and is gorgeously decorated in every room. The owner is super friendly and welcoming and the staff is always friendly as well. They are pretty fast in serving the food dispite the volume of people they receive there. The food is delicious and the Margaritas are to die for! They are pretty strong as well, just how I like it! My favorite Margarita is the Passion Mango if you love a sweet tooth. I definitely recommend anyone to visit this place. You will also fall in love!!
Great food - best salsa I’ve ever had. All of the wait staff is great. On a recent visit, our party of 7 missed the automatically added gratuity for larger parties and accidentally added a second tip. Not only did the server bring this to our attention, but after we decided that such honesty deserved *both* tips (honesty is such a rarity these days), the manager stopped by to confirm our intentions. Great employees, great atmosphere, and I love the new sign on the front door!
We eat Mexican a lot. Our 3 boys can't get enough of it and this experience was amazing. Décor, food, waitress - hands down #1. We'll certainly be back (worth the 35 min. drive)
The place to go for relaxing day or night, fantastic bartenders and wait staff. Always a delight as soon as you walk in very welcoming and I love the beautiful flowers walking outside just beautiful. Great food and drinks.
Never have I had a bad experience here in 15 years. Very friendly staff and the best Margarita's in town. Generous portions of food. I always have food to take home. Keep up the awesome work.
We sat outside on the patio and it was great all of the tables have umbrellas. Our server Olivia was very good, always there when she needed to be. I had two different margaritas and they were both very good. My husband had fajitas and we asked if it would feed two and she said no, I guess it just depends on how much you eat because it did feed both of us, him for dinner that night and myself for lunch the next day. They also have plenty of parking.
Excellent Mexican restaurant in the Milwaukee area. So good that we ate here twice in one trip. We also rode electric scooters from downtown to here. Highly recommend! The margs are amazing, and the staff is super chill and talkative. Would love to come back. The whole atmosphere was just a vibe.
I've heard about this place for many many years but was never really in the neighborhood to check it out. Just happened to be a few miles away back in May & my bf & I decided to stop in for lunch. Food was amazing with no bad experience. Highly recommended. It does get busy but were able to be seated right away.

The food is good but the drinks are better and a little dangerous in a good way. First time going and had a wonderful girls night out.
The Fajitas is of the best I have ever eaten. Same as the Enchiladas. But the shrimp soup is not so great. It tasted fresh but had a strong bleach flavor at the same time, almost like the shrimp dropped in the swimming pool.
I'm so glad we ate here. Plenty of menu choices and has meat, seafood and vegetarian options. The food was amazing, large portions, reasonable prices, fast service, friendly staff. I just wish it was closer to me, but I'll be back someday! Oh and the margaritas are really good too!
We had 10 people for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a happy and enthusiastic hostess staff. Our table was ready and we were sat even though everyone in the party was not there. That was appreciated. Our server was on it from the start. Terrific and timely with orders and cocktails, her service was excellent. Chips and salsa were swiftly refilled without asking. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinners from enchiladas to shrimp soup to combo plates. Would recommend and return.
This restaurant has top tier service, food, and excellent atmosphere. Good portioned food(highly recommend the steak fajitas), service was on point and quick/friendly and large dining area decorated nicely!

Great dinner! Loved being seated in rear and less crowded, fewer loud voices! Excellent servers...deserving of extra gratuity above standard already added.
The service is great, so are the drinks. The food was very bland. I'm from Arizona with roots in New Mexico, so I'm used to Sonoran Mexican food and real hatch green chili. The atmosphere is neat though and again, 10/10 for their staff.
Always a beautiful place awesome food wonderful staff very friendly, and always have room for big parties never tried it it is a must-stop 😉✌️
We went to Botanas for taco Tuesday, and it was a Tuesday to remember. We were served with a smile right from the jump. We ordered, and our food came out fast. I had a taco salad that was made for a queen. It was enough and then some. I wish there was more meat and less sour cream and guacamole. It was all good! I will definitely go again. Botanas - you did your thing!
Our food was fantastic. The service was insanely fast. We got our food very quickly after ordering. Their enchilada soup is amazing. I'd recommend making sure you try it when you visit. It was also nicely decorated for Halloween. The prices were also very reasonable.
Nachos gringos. Plate consisted of tortillas, melted shredded cheese, and a meat option. 1 plate is steak, and the other plate is al pastor. Side plate consisted of black olives, pickled jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream that dress on the nachos yourself. You have an option to order a full plate or half plate. These were full plates. Portion size was enough for one adult. Pricing was a bit higher than other plates of the same offering. Both the steak and al pastor tasted good. I would order again.
This place is sooo good! Service is fabulous and they're absolutely accommodating to all size families. The decor is awesome from the walls to ceiling. It sets the vibe immediately and puts you in a good mood. Highly recommend the tortilla soup!
