Absolutely the best fish fry I've had hands down!! The bus boy was not very kind but the lady at the front desk overheard it and immediately rectified the issue!! Bloody Mary's were huge and a meal in itself. Next time I will not get all you can eat though. The first portion is so big I couldn't finish that. I didn't even touch my bread and I love bread!! Definitely will be going back even if it is pretty far from where we live. Definitely worth the trip!!
This restaurant is most consistent in it's delivery of fine food and excellent service. For fish frys, no one can touch them. Perch, Cod, Tilapia or shrimp are available. I had cod. Superb and tempera-like batter with very moist and tender cod is to die for. Maybe that's why it's called Final Approach! Very highly recommended!
I haven’t been to Final Approach in many many many years. So going was a delight! It still has the same neighborhood restaurant feel. The service was phenomenal. The food was good. We had the French onion soup, Cobb salad and steak salad. The soup was soooo fulfilling that I almost couldn’t finish my salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I was so surprised at the continuous flow of customers. Keep up the great work!
The fries are fluffy and fresh, however, they could use seasoning. The cheese curds I would rank a 10 due to the crisp and flavor, pairs perfect with their ranch. The Alfredo is creamy and delectable, topped off with cheese and parsley. We also had the mozzarella marinara, not pictured. They were layered with three cheeses, the inner most was pepper jack, pairs great with their marinera sauce or ranch. My only issue was that I ordered chicken and rice soup but I was given what tasted like chicken noodle soup, plus the chicken was dry.
Solid Friday fish fry and amazing server. I got the beer battered Cod, the breading was light but super crispy. The tartar sauce was awesome, extra dilly. The nicest server I've had in a while.
Sam our waitress was the sweetest! Attentive but not to over bearing. Food was delicious came out hot and fries were super fresh. I wasn’t expecting my sandwich to be as big as it was, for the price you can not beat it!!! Will be coming again soon! I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband got the Asian chicken wrap.
From the best looking Steven ... What an amazing place to get some amazing food! 👏 We had the salmon, to go, with soup and salad sides. All of it was exceptional and definitely worth the fair price!! 👌 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Service was a little slow because they were short staffed. Be patient. Beer battered cod fish fry was good. We initially ordered AYCE but didn't end up getting more, so I asked if we could get the lower price but was told no because you get more pieces to start with it. My son and I realized that his AYCE was given to me and not him once we got home. It's one piece more, so unless you have a huge appetite, the regular order should be fine. The potato pancakes are a bit gummy, but the fries are good, so I recommend those. Coconut shrimp with mango dipping sauce was okay as well. My soup was forgotten about, so I got it to go.
Absolutely thankful to my Uber driver as well as the hotel front desk for recommending Final Approach. I was surprised at how amazing this steak was. (Strip). If I’m back in Milwaukee I will be back.
We flew into Milwaukee last September and were looking for a place to have dinner. We were about to eat at a Denny's when I looked up and saw an airplane on top of a building up the street. We decided to eat there since it was a local place and thank goodness--it saved us from a dinner at Denny's. Great food and service. Even we went in at closing time, they welcomed and served us good food.
Really great food and service. Busy but not rushed. Great prices and specials each day. Great menu selections from salads/sandwiches and meals
Great location to wait for a flight drop off. The value for the quality of the food was great. Salmon add on to the garden salad was easily better than at establishments with 3× the cost. Service was exceptional. Clean,well lighted, and open dining room.
