Supper at Movida was a gift from my son. We were both new to the establishment but we were given an overview of ordering etc by a very nice server. Best sangria I have ever had to start with. Our server was informative and checked with us in a timely fashion. We just kept ordering a variety of plates and were not disappointed. Everything served was great. My all time favorite was the pork tenderloin with red wine jam! Scrumptious! Finished with the churros and flan. Wonderful finishers!! They were busy that night but we never felt rushed! Such a wonderful way to eat, small plates with adequate time between plates. We were comfortably satisfied but not stuffed. The atmosphere is relaxing.....lighting was a bit low. We would come again. Would love to see outside space in summer!!
This place is wonderful. Food is AMAZING, our server Scott was wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful. I felt like I'm back to Spain. I highly recommend this place, great food and experience
Came here for my anniversary with my partner and it was truly worth the trip! I love the atmosphere in this space. Very romantic and it has a great vibe. We were greeted right away by the staff and they were so friendly. Our waitress was nice and very helpful. Since it was our first time we just did the unlimited tapas and it was pretty filling. We got it because we wanted to try everything and still couldn’t make it through everything. But overall the food and the experience was great and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a fun night out!
The food, staff, and ambience could not have been better. I went to here for dinner with a group of ten friends last night, and couldn't believe how creative and magical their outside space was, where we warmly sat despite the late November chill. Deep red-woven rug-curtains enveloped secluded tables with fire pits and heated lights about. Each plate was layers of scrumptious flavors and thoughtful textures. The staff was extremely kind, especially for our large party. Thank you for the beautiful birthday celebration, Movida.
Very cute place and $25 for brunch what more could you ask for. The appetizer of tomatoes and toast as well as the biscuit and gravy were absolutely delicious. The main course fell a little short though. The paella was flavorful with a bit of a kick, which is good, however I had multiple pieces of bone attached to my chicken. The AM noodles were very spicy and was loaded with vegetables, to the point where it was too much. The churro funnel cake was a delicious ending. The Bloody Mary was absolute perfection, so well seasoned and just the right amount of heat.
I'll start this off by saying I'm very critical when it comes to food and trying new restaurants. Always looking to try something new. Movida I think was some of the best food in MKE. First time doing tapas as well and it was amazing. Service was great. Each plate came out hot and fresh almost minutes apart. Could not believe how fast it was. I would go back here 10x over. Amazing for date night as well in my opinion (that’s what we did).
We LOVED this place! Great menu selection, and the cozy vibes be fire pits and Spanish decor is incredible. the Barbacoa tacos are a MUST have. We also thought the curry noodles were delicious, perfectly creamy with fresh vegetables. We enjoyed the whole selection on our sangria flight, but the Soda Pop sangria was our favorite.
Went during their happy hour on a Saturday. It got very busy, but that was not an issue.
Tried a lot of different dishes, favorite was the sliders. Very cool place with nice staff.
Overall a great experience. The unlimited tapas are a fun time and you'll be surprised at how much food you actually get.
If you're a value-focused diner, the unlimited tapas will run you $50 per person and an 18% tip. So a typical date with two people and 4 drinks total will end up around $180. To maximize your value try to get 10 tapas 😏.
This experience feels like a challenge and less like a date. I mean it when I say it, prepare for this. I fasted all day before I came here and made sure we got our money's worth.
Overall a great place to enjoy with a partner or group of friends. I wouldn't recommend you take a first date here because you'll be sweating 😂.
Such a nice experience especially being it was my first time there. We were early for our reservation so we sat at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Carl, our server, was friendly and took good care of us. The manager, Giovanni, (spelling?) was very friendly and so much fun. The food was amazing! I will definitely be back!

We had six people for a casual business dinner. To keep things simple, we opted for the all you can eat tapas. The staff kept the tapas coming until we said stop. Everyone loved it. It's a little pricey to do it that way, but the variety of interesting dishes added an element of fun to the dinner. Our guests remarked several times the next day how much they enjoyed the dinner. The waitstaff were very attentive. This was my first time dining there. Looking forward to going back with my family.
Always a great place to eat with steady improvement over the years. Lately their tapas are more filling, so it's less expensive. They have an unlimited tapas option, but it's not really necessary. Also, the paella burrito is amazing!
