Oakland Gyros on Layton Ave (along with its original location on Oakland ave) have the best gyros in Milwaukee hands down. Consistent good quality, delicious foods with extremely friendly staff and management. Their tzatziki sauce is also amazing which is an essential part of a good gyro. Highly recommend both locations

Best gyros in the town. Generous serving. Prices have gone up over the years but food is good unfortunately I noticed they didn't give me any feta, banana peppers or olives which was weird. Gyro platter seemed incomplete without those and that's why I am give 4 stars..

Greek salad was fantastic. Huge chunks of feta. I added gyro meat. My mom enjoyed the hotdogs and said the strawberry custard shake was very creamy and good. Super tasty Greek fries. If I had one critique O wish they would use better lettuce like romaine, etc instead of iceberg for the salad.

Just stopped in for a quick/late lunch. Had (just) a wonderful fresh made, substantial cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato for under $6. The place is pleasant and clean (enough). Not sure if they always play classical piano over the PA but it made the experience even more enjoyable. Been here many times before...and will continue.

Amazing food!! I love the chicken shishkebab sandwich and my husband loves the gyro. The sauce is wonderful!! We don't live in Milwaukee but when we come to town, we get sandwiches whenever we can!

This is the most classy & clean Gyro establishment I ever ate at. Never had my food presented on a tray with ketchup and white gyro sauce in squeeze bottles with choice of utensils. Add the relaxing playing music playing overhead and it was a great tranquil snack meal for the day.

This is my new favorite place. I go here and I order their fried eggplant and I'm always so exited to get it because it's always just as good as the last time I'd order it. There is this one man who is always super nice to me and my dad and is just all over a great person . You can tell he is just a genuinely happy guy! I love this place!!!!!!!!!!

Clean, fast, friendly, and always great. I like to combine the gyro and chicken kabob platter. The gryo, chicken shishkabab, burgers, and steak kabob are favorites of mine. Best gyro sauce and the portions are huge.

The best gyros around bar none. The platters are enough for three gyros (I always just order some extra pitas) with a tower of French fries or a really large and refreshing Greek salad. Everything they offer is delicious, and deliciously authentic. When friends and family come to town they always insist on hitting them up.

Chicken had so much flavor. The Greek salad with the platter was fresh and with two giant chunks of feta. The warm pita just put it over the top. My new stop when I’m at MKE.

Best Gyros in the midwest! We always order the "platter" with an extra pita, there's plenty of meat for two of us to have a large Gyro each and a good portion of salad. Clean facility and clean bathrooms.

The beef shish kabob cooked at medium rare is phenomenal.

This isn't quite as good or maybe it's just the atmosphere but the east side one on actual Oakland avenue is the one I would recommend however if you're on the south side this is a very very good compromise and I would recommend if you're not that hungry to get the baby gryo.
It isn't on the menu for a good reason however it is definitely the ticket otherwise make sure you get an extra pita on a combo order.
