Review The Union Restaurant - Milton

First time here. It’s out in the country. There’s even a pond next door with serenading frogs. I read the reviews and saw that chicken tenders were good here. However when I ordered them I was told that “the fryer broke”. No tenders. My bad luck. I got another chicken dish with bones and skin, so I was disappointed. Wife had chicken parm. A bit burnt on the edges and only minuscule red sauce and cheese. So she just cut off the burnt edges. We will return and give them a second chance to wow us.

Heard about this spot from a friend. We stopped by for lunch today. Sunny outdoor seating, nice atmosphere inside too. Kinda trendy, "hip" if you will. Our server was friendly and attentive and service was fast. I opted for the Grouper Sandwich with fries, the wife went for Kung Pao (which is very kung pao'y). Both dishes were good. We also went for Creme Brulee, but immediately inhaled it and forgot to take photos 🤦‍♂️. We will be back I'm sure. 👍

I’ve driven past this place a thousand times. Last week I decided to stop in. I can’t believe that I’ve missed a thousand opportunities to eat here! The menu is vast. If you can’t find something that makes you happy on this menu… you probably can’t be made happy. I’m adding pictures of the Tuna BLT and the Chicken Parm, but regardless of what you order, please try the Jalapeño Mac N Cheese!

Everything we had was incredible. Definitely try the homemade loaded barbecue chips. The Margherita pizza had amazing flavor as well.

My hosts had a great dinner. Ahi poke and schnitzel dinners were applauded. I and my companion had the quinoa black bean burger that needed some flavor. I thought the carmelized onions would give flavor but really I think salt would have helped at the least. The french fries had no flavor at all. Drinks were lovely and the server was sweet. Atmosphere was fun and outdoor seating accommodates warm and future cold climates. Across the street was a self serve honey stand on the honor system...so a fun experience overall....as long as you dont get killed crossing the street. I would return and not stick to my wfpb way of eating....but if you are strong....ask for salt or ketchup.

The sweet hostess was the only positive from our visit. Extremely poor service (food items left off or placed incorrectly, food delivered with no flatware for a long while so food got cold while we waited), overcooked meat and the final straw was a hair in our food (which he claims must have flew onto our plate on the way to our table). With each one of these things our server literally shrugged it off and was like ,"Whoops...sorry about that." There are so many places nearby with much better food and service, I truly can't understand how they are always so busy.

Found this place via Google Maps. Not disappointed one bit, my family enjoyed their dishes as did I. Highly recommended. Nice atmosphere, good music, and overall great experience. If I'm in the area again during lunch or dinner, I'll be sure to stop in again. Thank you.

Food was great! Servers tried, staff was not efficient. Hot food sat in window a long time. Service was chaos. You had 9 hot plates in the food window waiting for the 1 expeditioner, 2 hosts and a table prep person standing there looking for something to do and wait staff actually working their buttons off. There's nothing else in the area and the atmosphere is loud, full of kids and lacks the sophisticated environment this area is well known for. It was on my list of places to go to for a long time, and there is absolutely 💯 no reason to come back!

Food was great, service was fantastic, and our waitress really knew the menu. Her recommendations were spot on and the coffee and donuts are a wonderful way to finish up the meal. I highly recommend eating here.

Wonderful lunch. It was great sitting on the patio with our doggie. Loved the salmon B.L.T and the burger. The creamed corn with bacon side was exceptional.

First time trying this place last night for an early Mother’s Day dinner and everything we ordered was great. The Filet Mignon was perfect. I love the crusty edge from the “Philadelphia style” grilling. The Margaritas were on point and the service was friendly and timely. We will definitely be back!

My favorites, so far, The quinoa black bean burger appetizer, the fired fish sandwich, tomato bisque soup, shrimp & grits and my new fave is the gnocchi with artichokes and grilled chicken. Oh lala

What a great find! The menu is as eclectic as the decor; definitely something for everyone. From pasta dishes and stirfry to steaks and burgers. I had the gnocchi with roasted chicken and pesto - it was fabulous. My daughter had the goat cheese ravioli. She said the tomato sauce tasted fresh and had a nice spicy bite to it. My husband had the filet with fingerling potatoes. Nice selection of wine, and super friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

Great service by Carla yesterday. You just don't find great service anymore, and Carla went above and beyond. The food was really good too!!

It was a neat place with good drinks and food. Reminded me of 50's Prime Time at Disney.

Chicken schnitzel was wonderful! Loved the breading and the arugula salad. I'm not a huge grit fan, but my husband liked them. He had hangar steak which was also tasty. Don't order soft drinks.....they served canned ones. 👎🏻 Overall......Nice restaurant...unique decor with patio and indoor seating. Pet friendly. Good food with a wide variety of food options. We don't live nearby, but would return if in the area.

We were visiting family and heard it was a nice place. The service was great, and so was the food. I loved the Southern spin on the fried calamari. We are from New Jersey and it was a delightful surprise! We will definitely be back next time we are in Milton again.

One of my favorite places to go within 20 minutes of my home. Food is always wonderful... great quality and lovely presentation! And, we've always had great service!

Food was good, burgers are great. Kind of pricey but good every now and then.
