The Suburban Farmhouse

Shabby chic and definitely worth stopping by if you're in Milton! If you're not in Milton, you should be! It's a cool little town with a great theater, restaurants that backs up to a pond. The Suburban Farmhouse is a cozy and delicious place to hand out. I breezed in for a cool coffee drink but I hear the muffins/croissants and delicious. They just recently added a food menu and extended the hours to meet the needs of the theater goers. They offer sandwiches and other delights including baked goods. See the pictures! There are sofas for lounging but no wifi because they want you to talk to each other. Very cute. Many decor items that are unique!

The Suburban Farmhouse is a family-owned and operated cafe that’s located on Federal Street in Milton. The Farmhouse is known for its fresh, light, and seasonal fare. It’s been described as a pleasant mix between a contemporary coffee shop and a traditional farm-to-table restaurant. Nearly everything on their menu is made daily with locally sourced ingredients, and their soups, French toast, and gourmet pizzas are always among their most popular offerings. For those with a sweet tooth, they have an impressive selection of baked goods and a variety of juices, teas, coffees, and chocolate drinks, both hot and cold.

Parking off street provided. You can order at the counter and wait. It was late afternoon and my family stopped on the way out of town. The kids had two fantastic cheese pizzas. Good size for the price with fresh crust. The chicken salad on pretzel roll was fantastic and the turkey club on croissant was very good. Iced coffees and chocolate chip cookie to go were very good. The atmosphere is definitely as the name suggests. All the employees were pleasant and not stuck up and arrogant like many other coffee shops/cafes when you bring young kids in. Everything on the menu sounded amazing. I could easily eat here for a week for every meal.

The place is super cute, food was okay, service is BAD. I came with my sister and sat outside because I brought my puppy with me. The waitress took awhile to bring the menu out and didn't even try to be nice. I moved the water bowl for dogs closer to our seats since my puppy was panting heavily (it was 85F, and no shade). The waitress yelled at me and my sister for that. She could've told us nicely/put a sign that we're not allowed to move the bowl. I don't understand why she thought it was the right thing to gave us an attitude. I got an acai bowl and my sister got eggs, fries and biscuit. They're alright. Overall, I would NOT come back.
