The jjigae was mild and comforting. The banchan was good, and I liked their housemade kimchi.
Update: Don't order the crab tofu. It wasn't fresh last time I visited so I'm taking one star off. I've been going there for years. It has more options for tofu soups than other SGD locations. Still my favorite place to go if all I want is Korean tofu soup.
took the love of my life here; needless to say, we had a blast. super good soup, loved the way the appetizers (?) were set up in the trays! atmosphere is lovely in the afternoon and service was solid :)
My go-to place for soon tofu (tofu stew), which is the specialty here (over 10+ varieties to choose from). They also serve some traditional Korean BBQ dish, such as galbi and spicy pork, on the menu, but the options are limited. I also tried the budae stew (army stew), theirs come in a large bowl and had very little substances inside. It was barely enough to fill me up, a bit disappointing.
The restaurant was packed! Service was very good with staff checking on you often. The food was very tasty and plenty of it! I had the seafood soup (Hemul soon dubu). Lots and lots of clams, two large shrimp a d five small shrimp, plus scallops. This is a must try restaurant! I believe that you will return as I have!
Great experience!
I really enjoyed their banchan plate with purple rice.
Overall, service is quick , scan the barcode for menu, they'll serve food fast and overall will definitely come by more often.
Very good taste Korean tofu hot pot. The service is fast and good too.
