Review Manna Dew Cafe - Millerton

Perfect meal. Every detail was delicious, starting with the fresh bread and ending with the chocolate mousse cake with the chocolate cookie crust. I haven't had such a fantastic meal in a while. I highly recommend Manna Dew. I forgot to mention the super waitstaff!

Four of us went there this past Friday night, straight off the train. Cute space, was not very crowded so we were able to sit anywhere we wanted. The food (when it came out) was very good, but a bit overpriced considering the below average service we received. Strike 1: My husband asked to substitute fries for something more health conscious (as directed by his doctor). We were met with a "We don't do substitutions. You can order a side vegetable plate (for $12). Strike 2: Two of us ordered starters. They came out at least 6 minutes apart Strike 3: The entrees came out one at a time, spaced about 5 minutes apart. If we waited for everyone to be served before eating at least two of us would have been eating a cold meal, which is unacceptable, especially for the price we paid. I guess if you are going there alone and don't have to wait for your entire party to be served then it's an ok option, but there are better restaurants nearby. Unfortunately this was our first and last visit to Manna Dew

Manna Dew Cafe is a high quality dining experience and a boon to the Hudson Valley community. Every dish our party had was delicious - no misses here. The ingredients are sourced locally; some directly from the Manna Dew's own backyard garden. We had an assortment of refreshing regional beers, creative appetizers, and elaborately prepared, tender entrées (scallops, rack of lamb, duck confit and duck breast) and melt-in-your-mouth desserts, from chocolate mousse cake to creme brûlée. I'm very glad this restaurant is only a short drive - we will return whenever we want a special meal.

They offer a fantastic variety of fresh food. I enjoy eating here. Staff members are always very welcoming, pricing is convenient and the place is always well organised.

Always the best FTT. His menu is terrific, the service is Stellar. If you want to settle, go across the street... Millerton Inn is horrific, but quick, and you will never have to wait for stable... wonder why?

Food is for eating, and good food is to be enjoyed...Manna Dew accomplishes just that. I think food is, actually, very beautiful in itself, especially at Manna Dew!
