We had brunch on Easter Sunday. It was the regular brunch menu, which had a variety of both breakfast and lunch items. We had the 2 course brunch with brunch cocktails. The ricotta donut holes, crepes and Caesar salad were all excellent. The banana foster french toast was delicious, as well as the burger and omelette. The drinks were great and not watered down. The service was excellent and we didn't feel rushed. The decor is trendy and the atmosphere is great. Will definitely return and recommend.

Passing through and found this on Zagat. Absolute gem. Never had fresher food. Staff, particularly Elyse, were extremely friendly and fast. Ate the aged cheddar burger with white sangria. Both flawless. I can’t find a thing wrong with this place. If I’m in the area I will ABSOLUTELY stop by.
We went there for lunch today for a graduation celebration. The service was great and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this place!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Has a NYC vibe. I have been there many times and have never been anything but completely satisfied with the entire experience.

Moonshine is a great place for food, live music, parties (make sure to see the 2nd floor) & very child-friendly (kids eat free Sunday-Tuesday) Very welcoming, good value, nice menu with lots of comfort food. Highly recommend this place for happy hour too!

We've been coming here for special occasions for 3 years now! It's our go-to spot. My boyfriend took me here for Valentines Day and we had an amazing dinner. Service was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant and engaging. Everyone is super nice, the good is amazing, atmosphere is energetic and fun and it's overall a beautiful restaurant with 2 floors. We've been here for New Years Eve twice, Sunday Brunches, Valentine's Day(s) and more. We absolutely love it!
A great place especially since the reopening after the hurricane this past summer. Staff is SO friendly and helpful. They really just want you to have a great dining experience. The general manager is the same. Food is delicious and the menu is well-varied. Cocktails are great. Happy hour is even on the weekends and a NICE portion size. I recommend the hummus plate and the buratta. My partner really enjoys the wings here too.
Wasn’t happy with my seating at first but after expressing it to my waitress she moved me to the perfect spot. Atmosphere was nice and food was good.
As frequent patrons I can tell you it gets better and better with each visit. We introduced a new couple to Moonshine Saturday night and without saying anything they voluntarily praised the staff, service and quality of the food. Vic and his team are alway out front making sure the customer has the best experience! The cocktail menu has some great concoctions, try the Honey & Spice.
The staff was super nice! Was feeling bummed out because they didn't have the Jerk Chicken Omelette. However, the chicken and waffles was a nice substitute. Let's talk about their bread pudding! It was by far the best I've ever tasted. That alone warrants a return visit.

The food is DELICIOUS! Whether you love trying new dishes, or familiar dishes with a twist... this is the place! Our server Fantasia was amazing! Great personality, very friendly, got the order spot on and didn't miss a beat!!! I would recommend this place to ANY AND EVERYONE!!!!
Best happy hour in Essex county. Come here from 3-6 during the week for the best drinks and food you can get. Local beers on tap and great mixed drinks. Homemade ricotta and french fries are personal favorites. The staff is very friendly and you would never expect this place in Millburn.
