Old Turnpike Restaurant - Mifflinburg - Photo album

Clean & very pleasant waitress...out of honey dipped chicken, but my second choice was great as well...baked ham with stuffing & mashed potatoes. The loaves if homemade bread were awesome!!
Had take out. Not good at all. Mine looks like it was refried. Chicken fingers and fries. Yuk. Mashed potatoes tastes funny and scallops only 5. 2 big, 3 small. . Salad, applesauce and bread good. Was ready at time I asked.
My son and I stopped in for a late lunch recently, it's been awhile since I was last here. Just as I remembered though, perfect service, food was great, and the price low. I had the patty melt with a side of potato salad. My son had the chicken tenders meal, all very good! Will be back.
Decent breakfast, typical menu selection. Service was good, staff were friendly. Coffee was decent. Will go back when I'm working in that town.
This is a very good place to eat. Omelets here are amazing. All of them. The western and the bacon and cheese are my go to. Their homemade toast is great too. If you are traveling through Mifflinburg and want a great breakfast (or lunch) this is the place to go. Enjoy the coffee as well!!
Everybody is very friendly, the service was excellent and the show is the food. We got the Honey dipped fried chicken and I cannot recommend it enough.
If you are going out looking for fancy and ambiance, this isn't the place. But if you want honest, good, homemade food, go here! Service was good. Food was fresh. Restaurant was clean and proper spacing was followed between tables.
I went in not knowing what to expect, as I haven't eaten here in many years. The quality of the food was poor. I had the honey dipt chicken, it was very fatty with minimal amounts of actually meat. My girlfriend has the turkey club and she mentioned it was extremely salty and the bread was very ha
