Very affordable for bbq, got a good sized pulled pork sandwich and two sides for less than 10 bucks. The pork had a smoke ring and looked good, but was a bit dry. I don’t even know if it was the pork or if the bun dragged it down but it could use some more moisture. Baked beans and Mac and cheese were great. Barbecue sauces were very flavorful. The ambience was nice, and the side room they had the high chairs in smells amazingly of smoke. It’s a good stop off of 95. If they were charging 13-15 dollars for a sandwich and two sides I’d be hesitant to recommend but for 9.50 it’s pretty doggone good.

WARNING... THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! We had to eat twice off the top of the pork just to get down to making it a large sandwich! BBeans were good - green pepper added for taste, turnip greens just right, mac cheese was better than my grand mama's!! Sauces were good too; I am not a mustard based man, but even those sauces were good!!

Pleasant surprise. The parking lot and front of the building had the appearance of a closed business, but there were 2 vehicles towards the gas station, so we thought we would take a chance. If you are traveling on 95 and grabbing gas, skip the fast food options and stop in. Food came very quickly. The food was much better than anticipated. I had a chicken plate, and my husband had a brisket plate. Both had an amazing smoke on them. The brisket melted in your mouth. The chicken was a little dry but still very delicious. The sides were good. The bread would have been a star if it had not been dripping with butter. Some may love this, but it was pooled and dripping and just too much to for our taste. The tables were all dirty when we arrived except the one in front of the register, the bathroom has many hand written sloppy notes and the door is a bit interesting, the parking lot seems like an oversized or overflow lot, and a lot of their overstock seems to be part of the decor so storage must be an issue. These are all the reasons I did not give the atmosphere 5 stars, the rest of the dining area is nice and comfortable.

I visited here Saturday 8/19/23 evening on my was home and here is my review. Pros: 1. Super friendly people. 2. Good choice of food items. 3. Good prices. 4. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was BIG. Enough for me to share with my Boston Terriers! 5. Great tasting pork. 6. Potato salad was really good, too. 7. BBQ sauce was really good. Cons: 1. It is too far from my house to frequent.

A small disclaimer here. I met the owner of this place last year while visiting family in the area, as he lives across the street from my nephew. That being said, we have made lots of trips to the area, but for some reason, we had never been here. We made sure to visit on this trip. We both opted for the pulled pork sandwich. The meat is excellent. The sauce is pretty good, but I'll have to admit that I prefer Kansas City style BBQ sauce better. My potato salad was good, but could use a little spice, while my wife's baked beans were pretty good. We plan to be in the area awhile, so we are already planning a return trip.

We stopped here on a long trip since it's right off 95. Food was fast, portion sizes were big, taste was AMAZING and staff was supper friendly. We ordered a chicken plate w/ Mac and cheese and green beans, chicken slice sandwich, pulled pork sandwich meal and hot dog kiddo meal and it was perfect! Highly recommended- oh and price was great!
