Brownstone is my favorite place to enjoy a home cooked meal every time I fly back to PA. I live in Arizona now and miss Brownstone tremendously. It’s a place of great friends, delicious food, and fond memories. The seafood chemise is my favorite on Fridays. Tender roasted turkey with all white meat is my go to on all other occasions. You won’t be disappointed.

Go every chance we get. Fabulous food, best iced tea anywhere, excellent service, wonderful place, small wonder it gets packed. However have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated. Everyone working there is super friendly and service is superb. We've been eating here for 10 years.

Love The Brownstone! One of my favorite places to eat! How can you go wrong with homemade pot pie and killer crab cakes at the same place?

I love The Brownstone! It is my favorite place to go in town. Everything is delicious, the staff is fantastic and it has a wonderful, family atmosphere! I visit at least once, if not twice a week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all great. Something for everyone!

Love this place. Would only be happier if they would announce a few days early when they were going to have Chesapeke Chicken. Always good service, and never bad food.

We had a small wedding reception yesterday upstairs for a group of people and they did an amazing job. They came through with whatever I asked of them. Stored the cake overnight, the balloons etc. Everything was set up when we arrived and the food was delicious as always. Sherrie took our orders a few days before and everything happened in a timely manner. Our hostesses could not have been more attentive or helpful with anything we needed. Brownstone rocks and you won't find better service, food or prices anywhere!

Clean, friendly and great food. What else do you need to know? My 26 year old sons favorite place to eat. Lives in Arizona, came home for a visit and ate at The Brownstone 3 times while he was home in PA for less than a week. Will always be a family favorite.

Best home-cooked meal in PA. I had to check kitchen to see if my Mamaw was back there cooking. Fast and friendly service.

Great place to eat! Good home cooking...Taste like it came from your own kitchen. HUGE portions. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Wait staff very friendly and on their game. Always consistent no matter what time of day we go. Love love love Brownstone Cafe!

Love it here, good food in a unique building. Love seeing an old bank repurposed. A local institution, my go to for gift cards.

Took a break off the highway & found this gem. Friendly staff, great menu and a beautiful antique town with amazing old homes. We made a perfect choice on that day!

Did a Google Search for restaurants along our route from Jim Thorpe to Lancaster & Brownstone popped up. Looked interesting. We wanted a quick sandwich & wanted to sit away from others.... still in Pandemic mode. They sat up upstairs. We were attended to promptly by the friendliest waitress we ever met. Beautifully restored Bank into a quaint Cafe. Don't miss this gem.

I met a friend there for breakfast. At my friend's suggestion I tried the baked oatmeal. Wow! How do you make such a basic item so well that it ruins all others? Best I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Even though it is a little out of my way I will be returning (tomorrow actually).
