Celebrations for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Mother's and Father's days, Christmas and just because. We always celebrated around something from CP.

This bakery is part of the Butler County Donut Trail. They carry cakes, breads, and donuts. This apple fritter and cinnamon roll nearly filll the paper plates that I placed them on. The baked goods didn't last long. So tasty. Nice employees .

We were meeting with a group of our vintage auto crazed friends to celebrate a one of the local cars that just eclipsed the 700,000 mile mark!
I ordered a cake from Central Pastry Shop to make it really feel like a celebration! And WOW! What a cake it was! White cake with white frosting, a 9 inch circle! Not a crumb remained at day’s end! I think people enjoyed the cake as much as the 700,000 mile 1979 Chevrolet Chevette! Sincere thanks!!

This place is a Middletown tradition! All of the donuts look fabulous and delicious! The most popular are fudge squares and cinnamon squares, the lovely gal recommended as her favorite a unique butter glaze twist. For the donut trail comparison of glazed yeast donut this was near the top of the dt. With a perfect glaze covering a light and a bit sour dough, the slightly gooey goodness made number 2 for me.

Happened upon this wonderful shop as we doing the butler county donut trail. So far this has been our favorite stop, the ladies were very friendly and let us know right away witch donuts we're their specialties. Very notstalgic feel to this place.

Central Pastry is the original downtown Middletown bakery. It opened in 1949 and 2019 is their 70th year. Opens 6:30am Monday through Saturday and is the go to bakery for early locals who stop in on their way to work. They have donuts and pastries, cookies and more. Traditional round layer cakes are ready for any occasion. They make custom fancy wedding cakes and sheet picture cakes.
