It's a very nice, upscale restaurant. Clean, pleasant staff, varied menu but too much food ! I always have leftovers. Turkey dinner is excellent but you don't get squash, you have to order it separate.
Sad to see Angelica's closing after so many years! The food was excellent, as usual. We will especially miss the popovers and complimentary "roving" appetizers. We'll definitely try to make it back at least once more before they close on 12/20.
I have been eating here for years. Food is always reliably good. At dinner, they pass apps and popovers.
Held my daughter's bridal shower there. Food and presentation were excellent. Servers were helpful but not obtrusive.
We attended a small function, 18 people, in a beautiful private room, with a selection of 6 main dishes. My Prime Rib was well over 1" thick and cooked to PERFECTION...medium rare! Best ever and free pour drinks...right up to the glass rim! 5 Stars plus.
I was pleasantly surprised. I had gone about 5 or 6 years earlier and was underwhelmed by the offerings. I decided to try it one more time and I'm glad I did. As we waited for our server some young ladies came around in foot delicious chicken wings and popovers on our plates. The only thing even resembling a negative comment would be about the service but it was understandable because the place was packed. So I did not rate it down for that since the food and are very pleasant waitress Debbie more than offset someone delayed service. In any event I will be going back again hopefully on a less busy night - this was a Saturday.
Angelica's is a wonderful place.. I love the food, I have never had a bad meal. The service is always excellent. Most of the staff has been there for years ( that says a lot about a place when their employees have been there a while some over 20 years) the new renovated ball room is INCREDIBLE!! I highly recommend Angelica's if you are in the area for a bite to eat or someplace to have a function.
