The Chicken Run

Friendly service. Small dining room, but adequate for the task. Only one entree, Chicken Tenders. They were good but I didn't care for the special "Jan" sauce; BBQ was better. The "Fries" are not like french fries at all.They are the thickness of potato chips, and shredded like shoestring potatoes, so they end up like the potato chips left over in the bottom of the bag. Fried Oreo was outstanding. It's like an Oreo in the middle of a beignets.

Chicken Run is a fantastic "cheat on your diet" restaurant. I received my food around 7 minutes from the time my card was swiped to pay for my purchase. I didn't mind the wait because I knew my food would be fresh. The chicken was fantastic. The fries were good, but I wish they were a little thicker. The cheese curds were great, and were my family's favorite part of the meal. The food didn't taste super greasy, and I was happy not to see a huge grease stain on the bottom of the box. We will be back!

Food was fresh and hot. I don't usually like chicken, but the light tempura-like breading created a pleasant mouth-feel and good flavor. The deep fried oreo was a fun experience. The fries are almost like deep fried hashed potatoes, so that was unusual. I liked the crunchy texture and flavor, but they were a challenge to dip into ketchup and eat. Next time I'll put the ketchup right on the fries and eat them with a fork. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for fried chicken.

The service was excellent and the food was made fresh upon ordering. We placed a large order on a busy Saturday night and it was ready in about 15 min, so no complaints there. All of their homemade sauces were great. The chicken tenders are breaded like fried chicken at a Chinese restaurant, light and fluffy. The chicken was juicy and the fries were crispy. Will recommend to anyone in the area looking for good chicken tenders. Cheers.
