Waffle House

Just left this Waffle House. Typically, my husband I come in to eat every Saturday (to go order) and we love the friendly staff hence why we come . However today, it was a new face. He was a extra large white male white or Hispanic w/a black polo on. The first issue was that he did not give enough extra meat that we paid for on our scrambler meal. I asked him about and told him that I come every weekend and it’s never this small of portion. He cut me off and said “I measured it right.” I proceeded to walk our and I checked my food.. I took the first bite and a BIG piece of plastic came out. You can tell it was cooked inside of the food. See IMAGE below. So my husband went back to the EXTRA LARGE Hispanic or white guy and showed him the plate and the entire staff just looked at him shocked. He apologized and cooked it over. Never have I ever experienced that poor level of customer service let alone PLASTIC in my food. I will no longer patronize this Waffle House that I once loved.

Nostalgia at it’s finest. I used to go to Waffle House with my parents as a kid, and the service from the wait staff is wonderful. I’ve only gone during decent hours once or twice, but even in the middle of the night (especially in the middle of the night, to be honest), they’re amazing. Great sense of humor, always friendly, overall fantastic service. Couldn’t ask for a better place to eat when I really need a pick-me-up.

We always get the guy waiter and he's always on point..today they had a petite young lady cooking and my food was the best tasting it's ever been. I always get the grilled chik and cheese sandwiche today was extra good!!! Hashbrowns are always good and I always have some to take home for lunch or snack later. I enjoy this waffle house out of all of them and has become my new favorite breakfast place. Thanks for being available and staffed as best as possible even a truck was in and i didn't notice anything out of ordinary. Thank you for great service and good food.
